About Supiroban 2% Ointment

Supiroban 2% Ointment is a topical antibiotic useful against superficial skin infections. This medicine is not prescribed when the patient is suffering from fungal or viral infection. Supiroban 2% Ointment is not prescribed if the person is allergic to any ingredient, kidney problems, and open wounds and cuts.

Some of the side effects of this includes application site reactions like a burning sensation, itching, tingling and even rashed. It is not recommended to be applied over ruptured skin, thus patients must avoid.

Use the drug up to the prescribed amount not longer or shorter than the given duration. If you overuse it then there are chances of developing secondary infections, while not using the drug adequately will not clear up the infection.
