I am Dr. Tanmay Pandya, Nephrologist. Today I will talk about kidney failure and dialysis ke bare mein. Ye condition kayi sari bimariyon se ho sakti hai. Iske 2 types hain: Acute kidney injury & chronic kidney disease. Acute kidney injury short term bimari hai. Iska cause hai severe infection, side-effects of medicines. Ye bimari reversible hai. Chronic kidney disease mein kidney dheere-dheere kamjor hoti hai. Patient ko tab pata chalta hai jab kidney stage 4 and 5 mein aati hai. Iske main risk factors hain diabetes, high BP, urine infection, kidney stones. Ye bimari progress karti hai. Iske intial stage mein koi symptoms nahi hote hain.
But baad mein legs mein swelling, foam and blood in urine, tiredness, loss of appetite, vomiting. Isliye kidney ka test karayein. Painkillers na lein. And Dr. se regular follow-up karen. Jab kidney ki problem stage 5 mein aa jati hai to dialysis ki jarurat padti hai. Dialysis mein blood purify kiya jata hai. And ye procedure repeatedly kiya jata hai. Aise patients ko kuch precautions bhi lene padte hain jis se ye bimari tezzi se na badhe. Protein intake kam karna hota hai. Salt restrict karna hota hai. Is se kidney ki problem ko slow kiya jaa sakta hai. Or health maintain kar sakte hain. Dialysis se patient ki health regular mode pe aa jati hai. Patient ko apna lifestyle improve karna hota hai. Kidney disease se bachna bohot jaruri hai.
