The summertime is here and has brought with it the scorching sun, extreme heat as well as a horde of skin problems.
The heat, sun and the perspiration make the skin looks dull and also cause ugly rashes. Sunburn is common during this season along with tanning.

- The very first thing you should do to keep your skin glowing with health during the summers is to drink lots of liquid. The summers come with the blessing of different nutritious fruits like watermelon, litchi, mangoes, and these fruits provide a tasty way to keep your skin glowing. It is better to eat the whole fruits than juices but either way, it would be helpful to your skin.
- The second step that you should definitely follow during the summers is to apply sunscreen lotion before going out during the daytime, on all portions of the body that would be exposed to the harsh rays of the sun. You would also do good to carry an umbrella and cover yourself as much as possible from the sun rays.
- The skin easily gets irritated during the summertime that results in angry rashes all over the body as well as the face. Hence wear loose cotton clothes that would soak the sweat as well as let your skin breath. This would keep your skin healthy during the summers.
- If your skin gets sunburned when you get home the first thing you should do is splash cold water to your face. To soothe and relax a sunburnt skin, soak cold rose water in a cotton ball and apply to the sunburnt areas of the skin.
- It would be wise to use minimal makeup during the summertime since the makeup might not only turn ugly with the swat but might also cause skin irritation. If you have to use makeup, use waterproof ones manufactured by reputed companies and make sure you remove it completely before going to bed.
- Do not forget to bath daily to keep your skin as well as yourself healthy during the harsh summertime.
