Hi,

I am Dr. Amol Patil, ENT Specialist. Today I will tell you about the hearing problem in the case of children. Hearing loss is because of wax. Another important factor is cold. Early diagnosis and treatment are very important. Ear drops can help in dissolving ear wax. This can affect a kid's learning ability. It is very important to find out the hearing problem. So, there are simple tests. After the proper examinations, this can be treated. Adenoid and tonsil are the initial treatments. We give the treatment for 4-6 weeks. Newborns can also have hearing loss and this is congenital. It is usually diagnosed at the age of 1 and 1.5 years when the teeth of the child are not developed. So, give this treatment particular importance as early treatment is important.

Thank You!
