However, food intolerance is primarily due to a person s inability to digest certain foods and is rarely dangerous or fatal. Also, food intolerance never involves the immune system of the body.

However, milk allergy should not be confused with lactose intolerance. Allergies cause typical symptoms such as swelling and skin problems, while on the other hand, intolerance will only cause gastrointestinal problems such as vomiting or diarrhea.
