Also, you may need to take a few antibiotics and medications after the surgery which may not be beneficial for your baby when you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

While Lasik can be done in most ages, it is advisable to undergo this procedure after the eye growth has stabilized and the vision problems are stable. This will allow for the corrective measures to take effect properly and not cause further problems due to changes in the cornea in the future. It is advisable to undergo Lasik after 18 or 21 as different doctors prescribe different ages to carry out the procedure.
