झीरकॉल्ड टॅब्लेट (Zyrcold Tablet) selectively inhibits the peripheral H1 receptors thereby reducing the histamine levels in the body. It specifically acts on allergies caused in the stomach and intestine, blood vessels and airways leading to the lung. It also causes diffusion of thick mucus. Uncontrolled quantity of nitric oxide (NO) is related to inflammation and other kinds of disruptions of the functioning of the airways. Ambroxol inhibits the activation of guanylate cyclase which is nitric oxide dependent.
