dry throat /cough r due to inflammation of bronchi/lungs. Use tab unicontin sr 400mg daily 7-00pm.
Also get your pft/pulmonary function test.

Feet swelling can be due to cor pulmonale or tab esam. Your father medicine for copd is not as per protocol. Tab montair has no role in copd. Try tiomate 200 2 puff once/day with spacer for copd. Other medicine he can continue. Can take diuretics for feet swelling.

first stop the smoking totally
u can take nicorrette chewing gum to give up the smoking habit
drink plenty of water throughout the day
tablet unicontin 400 mg before bedtime will help but its not OTC drug and u need doctors prescription for that
