Sofraderm Cream is an aminoglycoside antibiotic agent that is used in combination with other drugs for treating infections. It is used together with antiseptic and anti bacterial eye drops, topical antiseptic creams, etc. It helps to prevent the spread of infection caused by bacteria by restricting the growth and replication of the bacterial cells. It is highly effective in treatment of infections caused by aerobic bacteria Sofraderm Cream and works by binding with ribosomal subunit proteins present in the bacterial cells. This causes misreading of the tRNA in the cells and thus prevents the bacteria from synthesizing proteins essential for its growth.
