About Sofra Tuffle Bandage

Sofra Tuffle Bandage is an antibiotic, primarily used to treat bacterial infections. It belongs to the class of an aminoglycoside antibiotic agent that is used in combination with other drugs for treating infections.

It is used together with antiseptic and antibacterial eye drops, topical antiseptic creams, etc. It helps to prevent the spread of infection caused by bacteria by restricting the growth and replication of the bacterial cells. It is highly effective in the treatment of infections caused by aerobic bacteria.

Sofra Tuffle Bandage and works by binding with ribosomal subunit proteins present in the bacterial cells. This causes misreading of the tRNA in the cells and thus prevents the bacteria from synthesizing proteins essential for its growth.

Potential side effects resulting from the usage of Sofra Tuffle Bandage are ototoxicity, burning sensation, tingling sensation, hearing loss, irritation, rash, and itching. Sofra Tuffle Bandage is contraindicated in case of allergy to belladonna alkaloids, perforation in the tympanic membrane, fungal or viral infections in the eye.
