Glemont-F Tablet
This is a combination medication which has Montelukast and Fexofenadine as active ingredients. A leukotriene receptor antagonist, this medication is used to treat asthma, hay fever, and seasonal allergy symptoms. It prevents asthma attacks and breathing problems caused by exercise. This medication works by blocking leukotriene. It, in turn, decreases certain asthma and allergic symptoms.
Before using this tablet inform your doctor if you have any of the following conditions :
- If you are allergic to any of its ingredients or any medicines, food and other substances.
- If you are pregnant, planning to be pregnant, or are breast-feeding.
- If you are taking any dietary supplement, herbal preparation, or other prescribed medicines.
- If you have a history of alcoholism or liver problems.
- If you have mental problems or mood swings including depression, suicidal thoughts, etc.
- If you are lactose intolerant.
- If you are taking a corticosteroid and are planning to stop or lower the dose.
Possible side effects of this tablet include gastrointestinal disturbances, hypersensitivity, headaches, cough, diarrhea, indigestion, mild sore throat, mild abdominal pain, and nausea.
