FLUDAC
- Fludac is prescribed for patients suffering from depression and obsessive compulsive disorder. This drug is used in the treatment of a host of mental imbalances and disorders including OCD, bulimia or eating disorder, and panic disorders as well. It is available in capsule form. The side effects of this drug include low blood pressure, confused state of mind, inflammation and muscle pain.
Uses
- Fludarabine is used along some other drugs to treat B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukaemia and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (cancer of white blood cells) in patients which don’t respond to other medicines or whose condition has worsened during treatment with other medicines.
Side Effects
- Visual disturbances, Edema, acute myeloid leukaemia, nausea, Myelodysplastic syndrome, infections, cough, anorexia, thrombocytopenia, malaise, myelosuppression, peripheral neuropathy, weakness, chills, fever, stomatitis, fatigue, vomiting, diarrhea, rash, neutropenia, anaemia, mucositis
Expert Advice
- Avoid fludarabine if you are intolerant to few sugars, have depressed immune system, present history of serious infection, feeling very unwell, or have bleeding or bruising. Children are not recommended to consume this medicine and people above 65 years of age should use it with caution. If you develop rash or any blisters, red to brownish urine after taking this medicine or disturbed vision, pain in side, blood in urine or decreased urine, need to have stem cells collected, need blood transfusion, have had skin cancer, need vaccination, have nausea or vomiting then immediately seek medical attention. Effective method of contraception should be used to avoid pregnancy while you are using fludarabine. Operating or driving heavy machines should be avoided as this medicine can make you tired, weak, confused, agitated, cause disturbed vision, or fits.
How it works?
- Fludarabine is an anticancer drug that belongs to antimetabolites (purine analogue) class of drugs which stops the multiplication and growth of new cancer cells resulting in death of cancer cells.

Start with physiotherapy sessions and learn exercise for spine. Don't sit on floors. Use lumber spine belt also. Don't lift heavy things. Send me x ray report also so that I can advise you medicine.

Hi, all your symptoms especially you menstrual symptoms and your mood swings can be explained by your thyroid disease. You will have to post your report before we can comment. About the meparate, I feel if you control the thyroid disease your menstruation should come back to normal in a few months.

First opinion is better, but change clonotril with fludac 20mg, it will give better response & removes mild to moderate ataxia as reported with tia pt.
