FLUDAC

Fludac is prescribed for patients suffering from depression and obsessive compulsive disorder. This drug is used in the treatment of a host of mental imbalances and disorders including OCD, bulimia or eating disorder, and panic disorders as well. It is available in capsule form. The side effects of this drug include low blood pressure, confused state of mind, inflammation and muscle pain.

Uses

Fludarabine is used along some other drugs to treat B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukaemia and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (cancer of white blood cells) in patients which don’t respond to other medicines or whose condition has worsened during treatment with other medicines.

Side Effects

Visual disturbances, Edema, acute myeloid leukaemia, nausea, Myelodysplastic syndrome, infections, cough, anorexia, thrombocytopenia, malaise, myelosuppression, peripheral neuropathy, weakness, chills, fever, stomatitis, fatigue, vomiting, diarrhea, rash, neutropenia, anaemia, mucositis

Expert Advice

Avoid fludarabine if you are intolerant to few sugars, have depressed immune system, present history of serious infection, feeling very unwell, or have bleeding or bruising. Children are not recommended to consume this medicine and people above 65 years of age should use it with caution. If you develop rash or any blisters, red to brownish urine after taking this medicine or disturbed vision, pain in side, blood in urine or decreased urine, need to have stem cells collected, need blood transfusion, have had skin cancer, need vaccination, have nausea or vomiting then immediately seek medical attention. Effective method of contraception should be used to avoid pregnancy while you are using fludarabine. Operating or driving heavy machines should be avoided as this medicine can make you tired, weak, confused, agitated, cause disturbed vision, or fits.

How it works?

Fludarabine is an anticancer drug that belongs to antimetabolites (purine analogue) class of drugs which stops the multiplication and growth of new cancer cells resulting in death of cancer cells.

I am patient of depression since last 5 yrs. I take fludac 20 for 5 years and still continue but now I want to terminate this but when I try to terminate I got depression again. So please give me some suggestion to be free from depression and fludac . I consult too many doctors but non of them able to improve my situation. So please help me. Thanks.

I am 47 yrs male suffering from chlamydia since 8months, symptoms where burning while urinating, had azithral 250mg courses done properly under md (skin vd) physician supervision several times, had done urine routine and culture test, rourine test normal culture showed e coli, having report suspect culture done again from another lab showdetails normal, Dr. Firm on chlamydia. Now burning during urinating symptoms totally have gone, but now inflammation and burning sensation in feet and outer anal area, discomfort in lower abdomen and sides developed since last 2 months, Dr. Suspected of low grade prostatitis and again continued azithral for 8 days, later inflammation burning in feet and anal area, abdominal and side pains stopped, but now after 1 month only inflammation burning sensation in feet and outer anal area has occurred and Dr. Continued azithral 250 for 8 days but symptoms didn't go. 1. A person diagnosed with ocd, psychosis and multiple personality disorder was secretly given fludac 40 (mg) and risperidone (0.5 mg) as prescribed by the doctor. Now this doctor is stating that his case is that of psychosis and asked us to continue these medicine for 2 more weeks, after which he should be admitted. Concern is if he is admitted for rehabilitation by force, consequences can be very negative (he can turn hostile) 2. Another doctor was consulted. He suggested against admitting. However, he suggested to immediately stop the above medicines and to start with haloperidol. However, concern is won't abrupt withdrawal of fludac and risperidone cause negative repercussions and withdrawal symptoms? please suggest what should be done?

Two year ago doctor prescribe me tancodep, serlift and fludac for pee fear in class or in any place where difficult to escape. I take med for 3 months after that I quiet taking med. But after some months I feel fear about some situation thes fear are irrational so that I start ignoring. But 7 months ago I feel tightness in chest due to fear of heart attack I am unable to divert attention from that fear but one day heart pounds fast so that I feel that I am having heart attack and I seek to the doctor for help then he carry out blood test and ecg. He said that ecg is normal but blood test detected typhoid and he prescribe be med for typhoid. From that incident my mind is full of fear if such incident occur where I did not get help then what can I do? My daughter is 11 yrs old. She is frequently having suffocating feeling with chest burning. GI endoscopy reveals erosive gastro deuodenitis. Doctors also indicated somatization disorder. I suffering from thyroid , hair fall, cinus (cold) also. My periods were not coming properly . It comes after 2,3,4 month . My weit is 50 kg and ht is 5'1. My diet is not constant and my mood also . I am a male of 52 years, on hypertension & t. I. A. Medications for the past many years. Recently I suffered with sudden low bp, dizziness, weakness in left leg which were diagnosed as recurring t. I. A. In all cardiac tests, xray, brain mri, nothing adverse was indicated. While hospitalized, the doctors recovered me with the administration of enclex injections. In the follow-up treatment I was prescribed with atorvastatin, esprin, pacitame, clonotril and clopiogril tablets, coversyl, arreno tablets etc. With these medicines, the improvement in my condition was poor. On 2nd opinion from another neurologist, I was prescribed zevert -16, an antacid cap, coversyl, clonotril, pacitane, arreno capsules. These medications have a little better effects. Kindly advice which one treatment I may continue. Matter most urgent
