About Dimol Tablet

This medication helps to break up gas bubbles, making it easier to eliminate, and thus giving it anti-flatulent properties. Thus it is used to for bloating, belching and to relieve pressure and gas from the digestive system.

Use this medication as directed by your doctor or at bedtime or after meals orally. The drug may decrease the effectiveness of thyroid medication. So take the medication around 4 hours before or after this medication.

There is no proof whether this medication passes into breast milk or not; consult your doctor first if you’re breastfeeding. Let your doctor know if you are on any dietary supplement, herbal medicine or any other prescription or nonprescription medicine.

    How does this medication work?

    This medication is a silicone oil that is used as a surfactant, carminative and antifoaming agent and has viscoelastic characteristics. The drug mainly protects the skin from minor irritations caused by diapers or from getting cracked or chapped. It does not allow water to evaporate from the skin. In head lice treatment the drugs affect the respiratory system of the lice and hence, prevents the scalp from getting affected.
