NITROSUN
- Nitrosun is known to contain an active component nitrazepam which is a known benzodiazepine and is essential for the treatment of insomnia and sleeplessness. It affects the neurotransmitters known as GABA which helps to send calming messages to the brain, relaxing it and inducing sleep. If patients are known to have a history of lung disease, precaution should be exercised before prescribing this medication. Some of the known side effects of this medicine are skin rashes, weakness in the muscles, abnormalities in appearance, difficulty in urination, fatigue and decreased alertness.

Valium and nitrosun as rightly said are benzodiazepines usually prescribed for relieving anxiety and they do impart good sleep. There are few chances of toxicity at the dosage which you are taking but they need to taken cautiously when one is having history of asthama. There are more chances of being dependent on them if taken for long period of time as they have addictive potential.

This is a very powerful drug and he is consuming way too high a dose. I don’t know where he is getting his funds to maintain this habit but something has to be done about that to limit his access to those resources. Then I suggest that he goes for immediate rehabilitation to a recovery center and stay there for at least 6 months until he is all clear and clean.
