About Dimethindene

Dimethindene, a second generation antihistamine (H1) drug, is used to treat urticaria, allergies of the upper respiratory tract such as hay fever and perennial rhinitis, food and drug allergies, itching, etc. This drug may interact with aminoglycosides, analgesics, atropine, sedating antihistamines, other sedatives, tricyclic antidepressants, hypnotics, neuroleptics, MAOIs and antimuscarinic drugs.
