Foetal cord blood karyotype is also known as Foetal Blood Sampling ((FBS) or percutaneous umbilical cord blood sampling or and also known as prenatal diagnosis. FBS test prevents risks during pregnancy. Blood is circulated to the foetal cord by umbilical vein which is responsible for delivering oxygen to the foetus and umbilical arteries are responsible for removing bad blood from the foetus.
