Summers have started. There is a lot of importance given to dincharya and rutucharya in ayurveda. In summers exercise should be done early morning around 5 to 6 am as your energy levels r very good.A light exercise like walking, pranayam is preferred. Then have milk, fruits or almonds n black raisins to start your day. Gulkand with praval is a good option to keep yourself cool in summers.Drinking khush water,kokum sarbat,lemonade, thandai,is preferred for tea n coffee in summers. Eat seasonal fruits like watermelons, muskmelons, n mangoes which r rich in minerals n water content.Drink coconut water also 2 to 3 times a week. Eat lots of cucumber n radishes in salads .Don't drink chilled water n drinks as it may hamper your digestion.
while going out in sun protect yourself from sun by applying good sunscreen of SPF 50 n goggles to protect your eyes.Always drink clean n lots of water to keep yourself hydrated. Happy summer.
