EFS Concept of Fitness
Exercise, food, sleep: we cannot achieve fitness with any one or two of these three elements. All these elements work hand in hand. We may have best food plan and sleep, but without exercise our bones will get weaker. Our cardiovascular and respiratory system will deteriorate and the percentage of fat will increase. Though we have slept sufficiently, we will feel tired and lethargic. Without a balanced food plan, we will maintain an unhealthy weight. The health of our hair, skin and internal organs will deteriorate. We may have the best food plan and sufficient exercise, but without sufficient sleep, our body will not have time to recover or carry out important hormonal functions related to weight loss, skin, hair and other functions. So, all these elements are required for attaining fitness levels and great health. To achieve a goal of fitness, we have to make a balanced choice of exercise, nutrition, and sleep.
