Ziglim is a drug recommended to patients who are suffering from type 2 diabetes mellitus. It effectively helps in lowering blood sugar levels in cases where weight loss and exercise is not quite enough. Some of the side effects of the drug are diarrhoea, nausea, yellowing of the skin, sore throat, fever, dizziness, dark urine and weakness.

I am diabetic. I am taking tab ziglim m-2 b. D(500 metformin+ 2mg glimipride+15 mg pioglitazoe) my diabeties is under control. Fasting sugar is 110mg p p sugar is 160mg. As I come to know that pioglitazoe drug have side effect like bladder cancer and bone weaknesses. I want to know how can I change pioglitazoe with other salt?

Iam 58year old my weight is 75 kg height 5 .10 I am diabetic last 10 year my sugar fasting is 160 In the morning after breakfast take medicine as Dionil M Pionarm G M and after diner Dionil M Ziglim Plus2 some one say that I am taking high doos please advise me.

You are taking very very very high dose of medicine. And it will not have any effect. Blood sugar medicine are scientifically treated.

I am 32 years male height 182 cm wt. 87 kg, two month back I was diagnosed for diabetes. I am taking ziglim 1 twice a day as suggested by physician. Still sugar levels are around 115 fasting in morning and 145 around 2hrs after meals. What should I do to further improve? please advise can this be cured permanently through ayurved/yoga.

Hello doctor. My mother is diabetic and having problem of high bp. She is taking ziglim m2 (glimepiride 2 mg and metformin 500 mg) and for bp she is talking amloz 5 mg But neither sugar is controlled nor bp. Sugar level stays between 200-300 and bp 130-150 after taking these medicine. Please prescribe any effective medicine.
