Yamini tablet is used for contraception and works by stopping the process of ovulation. This tablet affects the sperm movement in the womb to prevent its union with the egg. It also leads to a change in the lining of the womb. The dose and duration of this medication will be prescribed by the doctor. This tablet can be taken with or without food.
Some of the side effects of this medication includes bleeding, nausea, vomiting, weight gain and others. It is also not safe for pregnant and breastfeeding women. If you miss a dose, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.

This tablet is a medicine containing Ethinyl Estradiol in combination with Drospirenone. It is a semisynthetic estrogen which enters the cells and binds to the estrogen receptors and forms a complex that enters the cell nucleus and bind to the DNA. This activates the DNA transcription of genes that are involved in estrogenic cellular responses.
