About Tobramed D Eye/Ear Drops

Tobramed D Eye/Ear Drops is a combination of two drugs: Dexamethasone and Tobramycin. Dexamethasone is a steroid which blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the eye/ear red, swollen and itchy. Tobramycin is an antibiotic. It stops bacterial growth in the eye/ear by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. This medication is unsafe to use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Tobramed D Eye/Ear Drops is a medication which takes 1 or 2 days before you see an improvement in your health conditions. This medication is an antifungal medication. It kills fungi by destroying the fungal cell membrane. Take it in the portion and duration as recommended by your specialist. Take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medication inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off extra liquid.
