About Piranulin Tablet

This is a combination medication which has Alpha glycerylphosphorylcholine and Piracetam as active ingredients. It is a chemical that is released during the breakdown of fats obtained from plants like soy. This medication is primarily used to treat Alzheimer’s disease. It is used to treat other conditions like dementia, stroke, and other mini-stroke conditions.

This medication is known to interact with a chemical called scopolamine. Although it is not known whether they inhibit each other’s functions. Hence, doctors are advised to exercise caution. Patients are advised to inform their medical practitioner of all the medications they are taking, and if they have allergies.

    How does this medication work?

    This medication increases chemical reaction within the brain which is known as acetylcholine. The chemical within the brain is crucial for learning and memory functions. Piracetam acts by impacting the release of certain neurotransmitters in the brain. It improves and facilitates microcirculation in the blood vessels. It increases the flow of blood and oxygen uptake by activating acetylcholine.
