I am sure you are aware that diabetes is a condition that remains for life time. If your sugar levels are under control it is only because of medication plus diet control, exercise and weight control. I am not aware whether you are observing all the above. But these are an essential part of the treatment. The moment you stop the drugs and and all the above the disease will go out of control. Hence the treatment is life long.

you have vitamin d deficiency and the treatment your doctor has given is absolutely correct...you have not mentioned detailed t3 t4 tsh report ..that would help me in finding whether u have any thyroid disorder too

The direct evidence for controlled hypothyroidism is a normal report of tsh which shows that it is within range. If the tsh is higher than the upper range then the dose will be increased and if the tsh is lower than the lower range then the dose will decreased. If the tsh is within range then you have controlled hypothyroid state and the dose will be carried on as such. Sir you meet your Diabetologist / Consultant who is treating you and report your problem. You shall have to exclude any Neuropathy or Myopathy which is a complication of Diabetes. Please do not ignore.
