    Hi lybrate-user,
melacare should not be used for more than a month. If you do end up using it for long. I request you to use biluma. Its a cream with very little to no side effects.
Melacare longterm use has side effects.
    Please always consult. Take care.

Steroid abuse: this cream contains few harmful ingredients and hence it may cause a lot of unwanted side effects like irritation, hair growth on face, thinning of skin, wrinkles on face, pimples and even steroid dependence. You should stop using it immediately. If your skin has become addicted to it, leave it gradually. Apply alternate days for a week, then twice a week for next week and then stop. Never use any over the counter cream on your face without consulting your dermatologist.

Hello, please stop using melacare cream since it contains a steroid and can give side effects like skin thinning, sun sensitivity, reverse pigmentation etc. You could use melaglow rich cream or kojivit gel one pea size drop for full face at night for 2 months. Please use sunscreen like rivela or photostable 15 min before sun exposure. Reapply every 2-3 hours. Strict sun protection is of utmost importance.

    Hello,
the cream you mentioned contains steroid in it. So it is not a good idea to continue the cream for longer period as you are using. It is better to shift to a safer non steroidal based applications. If use then could cause atrophy of skin and further damage. I suggest you to meet a dermatologist and get a proper medication prescribed. All the best.

Melacare is a triple combination of hydroquinone tretinoin and steroid. Long term use can lead to varies sideeffects which at times can be irreversible. So stop it asap. I normally recommend a good night cream steroid free and sunscreen along with face cleanser as daily regimen for antiageing.
