HUCOG

This medication is used to treat infertility; it helps to increase the number of eggs that is being produced and released from the ovary. This medication replicates the hormones known as luteinizing or LH which actually helps the follicles to release the eggs in the ovaries. This has also been effective in increasing the sperm count in men. If patients are known to have a history of epilepsy, migraine, heart disorders, kidney disease and liver problems, caution should be exercised before prescribing the medication. Some of the known side effects of this medicine are tenderness in the breast, depression, nausea, constipation, and swelling of the spot where injection has been given.

My wife is not conceiving though she is under medical supervision for the last eighteen months. She is now taking Duphaston (1 tab. From day16 to 25) OvigynDSR (1tab. Daily) Clomipure (day3 to day 7) and Hucog hp5000 inj. Monthly once for the last two months. She only has been diagnosed with a minimum thyroid. Her age is 33years and she is a bit bulky. Kindly give me your valuable tips as what to do.

I am 38 year old and trying to conceive through iui. Report of follicular monitoring on 13th days is: rt. Ovary: 11x11 mm, lt ovary: df 23x19mm, endometrial thickness: 9. 0 mm, no ff. Please advise when I should take hucog 5000 injection and iui?

Why are you waiting till left side showing 23 mm? it may be something different. So, if you want you can take hcg now but at this cycle, chance is low.

HI I am 26 years old I live in noida sec 39. I have polysystic ovaries and abnormal periods I want to conceive my doctor doctor gave me fertomid 50 mg tablet for 5 days from second day of my period and prescribed follicular monitoring but my egg size on 13 day was right msf and left 13*11 and also on 16 th day the size remains same. But earlier before for 2 months the same ultrasound report was ok with same medicine and also Dr. gave me hucog injection earlier to rupture but I did not conceive and this time egg size was not ok please tell me what can I do?

You need to increase the dose of fertomid to 100 mg once daily for 5 days as above and see if it improves the results over the next two months
