there are many causes for redness of eyes mainly allergy, infection, inflammation and dry eyes etc.
1. Redness + itching: allergy
2. Redness + pain+ watering + decreased vision: infection
3. Redness + pain: inflammation
4. Redness+ foreign body sensation: dryness

All of a sudden I had a burning sensation in my eyes. It got all red. And then all of a sudden like about 2 mins after it was all fine. But the thing is that no dust got into my eyes. So is it a symptom of any kind of disease?
