About Dosetil 0.05% w/w Lotion

This lotion contains Desonide, which is a topical corticosteroid. It helps to reduce skin inflammation and irritation caused by certain mild to severe skin conditions. If you have had measles, TB, shingles, chickenpox recently, alert your doctor to this information. The fact that this lotion is a cream applied on the skin, makes it safer to use as there is little chance of it interacting with another medicine.

Rub and massage the lotion on the affected area of skin gently till the lotion has been spread evenly. Wash your hands immediately after applying this. Be careful not to cover the area up with bandages unless specified by the doctor.

You may experience a faint and mild burning sensation when you apply the cream. More severe side effects include discoloration of the skin, swelling of the mouth, tightness of chest and inflamed hair follicles.
