I have allergic cough from last 8 months. Many doctors changed but still I have cough and also feel wheezing sounds while I cough. Doctors prescibe montelukast and deriphyllin but instead of it sometimes I have little cough. Please suggest me what I do to get rid of completely this cough?

As you have wheeze, go far spirometry to confirm asthma. Try foracort 200mdi 2 puff/twice day with spacer

I have severe anxiety and my cardiologist prescribed me propranolol a beta blocker now I am feeling breathlessness can I take deriphyllin r tablet which is a bronchial dilate along with propranolol.

If you are having breathing difficulties, please stop propranol immediately. It's contraindicated if breathlessness.

My father is 60 years old. Since last few days, he was having problem in breathing, specially in nights. So he want to doctor and took medicines, Ct scan also done. Let me paste report points here. 1. B/l ling fields shows normal air attenuation with few bronchovascular markings. 2. Bilateral bronchovasculature is otherwise normal. 3. Tracheobronchial tree is normal. Trachea slightly on right side. 4. Mediastinal shadows are within normal limits. Great vessels are normally opacified. 5. Oesophagus is collapsed and normal. 6. Cardiac silhouette is normal. 7. Bilateral pleural cavities are clear and chest wall is within normal limits. 8. No evidence of any lytic lesion seen in the vertebrae. Please can you explain these. Also doc says that there is some water in lungs and may be its TB. Is there anything serious in this. He had little fever and chest pain also. Medicines he is taking 1. Dolcet NP, 2. Envatis, 3. Lexadol, 4. deriphyllin, 5. Retard 150. Thanks.

Ctscan report is normal with no pleural effusion as of now and see to it that he maintains his vital parameters of the body.

My age is 25. I am suffering with ASTHMA for the past 12 years. I am unable to keep asthma under control. I need to use my rotahaler regularly. I get asthma with dust, perfumes,masala etc and also if I get stressed. I am using DUOLIN and BUDECORT (200 mg) rotacaps. I also use deriphyllin tablets sometimes. Please suggest me some more medicines. Is there permanent cure for asthma Thank you.

use asthma controller medication by inhalation with spacer. duolin inhalation is for emergency use and not for regular use. Long acting beta 2 agonist should be added to budecort inhalation for bette rasthma control

Hi Doctor My son 1 yr 4 months old, he undergone for a surgery Coarctation of Aorta in his 3rd month. For a past 1 week he had a severe cough and cold, even we undergone for a medication, they prescribed Deriphyllin, Bromisal, Docser which is not responding for his cold & cough. Kindly pls tell me.

I have Asthma/COPD since last 5 years and managing with 1. Serolfo 250 (1 puff x twice a day) 2. Duolin (1 puff x 5-6 times a day). I am 63 male and play tennis everyday. During play i find extremely out of breath despite taking 2 puffs of Duolin. Docor please suggest how many puffs of Duolin can i take at a time for getting releif during play. Or if you can suggest some other course of medicine. Thanks

First get a PFT done to decide between asthma and copd as treatment is different.Increase dose of seroflo 250 2puff twice/day.Duolin 2 puff 15 mts before tennis can be taken.Taking duolin 5-6/day is not good. Kindly get your severity assessed and dose of medicine adjusted.For good control of asthma you should not require duolin more then once/week.

I am 50 year old I am suffering from respiratory problem. I have used many cough syrups and antibiotics also but chest is still not clear there is a noise while deep respiration.

I am suffering from asthama since 32 years and I am using deriphyllin tabs and injections with betnesol injection. Now I can not walk little distance I am getting wheesing. Any medicines to improve this ?

You are on wrong line of treatment. Try foracort 400 2 puff twice/day with spacer, tab ventidox m 1tab/day at 5 pm. Try to reduce inj betnesol if possible. Nebulization with solbair I 3-4/day

Dear sir I am 26 years old I have asthma problem last 22 years I have checkup treatment but whenever climates will change like rain sessions that time its happening. I am taking injunction dexsona deriphyllin and asthalin inhaler, levolin rotacaps daily 6 to 7 times. Right now i'm staying in bangalore there climate is not dutiable for me basically i'm from rajasthan. Please give me any suggestions. Thanks.

Sir you are on wrong adv. Dexona, levolin and asthlin are for emergency use. Start seretide 500 acuhaler 1 puff/twice/day. Get assesed by pulmonologist.
