You appear to be suffering from panic disorder. This is seen in 2-3% of the people in the general community. Clonazepam (clonotril) is used as part of initial treatment but is not a definitive treatment. Proper assessment followed by treatment with an ssri medication is definitive treatment. Also, we need to assess for any comorbidities and assess triggers for such panic attacks. Treatments including cognitive behaviour therapy & relaxation techniques would be extremely helpful. Take care.

Clonotril is a benzodiazeine. It has addictive potential. Talk to your doctor to wean off clonotril and try on something else which is non-addictive.
