CALAPTIN
- Calaptin is known as calcium channel blocker, and used for relaxing heart muscles and blood vessels. It is used for treating hypertension, chest pain and heart rhyme disorder. This medicine is available in 40mg, 80mg and in 120mg tablet form and must be taken twice daily or as prescribed by a doctor. Some side effects are low blood pressure, constipation, diarrhea and joint pain. It is not recommended for children below 18 years.

As the meaning of tia goes. The patient recovers completely within next 24 hours. If not. Then we call it a stroke. A tia is said to be a warning for a stroke. Good that she is under proper medications which are given to prevent a major attack. You may ask the physician to take care of her anxiety and give her some reassurances.

Electrol is indicated in diarrhea and vomitings to replenish the lost electrolytes.I feel the BP is normal for her age.If she is observing salt restriction she can add 1gm salt.Continue same medicine & take as per the doctor's instructions
