    This drug prevents the synthesis of coagulant factors, II, VII, IX, and X and anticoagulant proteins C and S that are dependent on vitamin K. Therefore, the prothrombin concentration and fibrin in prevented. Therefore, the thrombogenicity of clots is decreased.
