AQUAZIDE

Aquazide is a water pill (thiazide diuretic) that can prevent excessive salt absorption by the body. It is used for the treatment of fluid retention (edema) and high blood pressure. It can help to reduce symptoms like shortness of breath and swelling in ankles. It may increase the frequency of urination. It is available in the tablet form of 12.5mg and 25mg. Mild side effects may include nausea, dizziness, cramps, thirst, diarrhoea, impotence, vomiting, constipation and loss of appetite. Severe side effects may include high fever, sore throat, difficulty in breathing and bleeding.

I am having strange condition as regards my blood sugar levels .invariably my fasting sugar level(120-125) is higher than pps (110-90).it again goes up during night after dinner(170-175)in spite of taking tablet of glyciphage sr 500mg after dinner. I do not take any sugar tablet in the morning. I take B.P tablet twice morning(Olmat 40mg with aquazide 12.5mg) and night(Aten 50 with Amlovas 5mg). Is it ok to continue with existing medication or any alternative is essential? kindly advice me.
