AQUAZIDE
- Aquazide is a water pill (thiazide diuretic) that can prevent excessive salt absorption by the body. It is used for the treatment of fluid retention (edema) and high blood pressure. It can help to reduce symptoms like shortness of breath and swelling in ankles. It may increase the frequency of urination. It is available in the tablet form of 12.5mg and 25mg. Mild side effects may include nausea, dizziness, cramps, thirst, diarrhoea, impotence, vomiting, constipation and loss of appetite. Severe side effects may include high fever, sore throat, difficulty in breathing and bleeding.
