Deriva-Cms Gel mechanistically combines with certain retinoic acid nuclear receptors as well as retinoid X receptors. It does not combine with cytosolic receptor protein however. The exact working nature of Deriva-Cms Gel is not known. The other active ingredient Clindamycin belongs to the class lincosamide. It works by binding to the 50S subunit of the bacterial ribosome thus inhibits the protein synthesis in the bacteria and stops the growth of the bacteria.
