METACIN

Metacin is prescribed for patients suffering from migraine pain as well as toothache and pain in other areas like the ears. This drug also helps in treating and reducing the pain caused during menstrual cycles. It is available in syrup, suspension, liquid and tablet form. It is also available for intra venous use. The side effects of this drug include facial swelling, damage to the liver and cold.

Sir my dashound dog is 7 years old, eating well no toilet and urine problems, but its upper abdominal part is paining severely. Cannot touch at all. Walking slowly only. Always sleeping difficult to get up in back area. What is the problem and remedy. Kindly advise.

Dear treat like following manner treat with noroxin tablet (one tablet in morning/evening) and tablet metacin 500mg one tablet morning/evening.

My baby is ten weeks old. Two days back she was given DPT and Rotavac. Same and next day nothing we noticed. On the third day I found redness around the injected surface and big clot. The little girl is crying. Not taking adequate breast milk. Kindly help doctor sir

This is very common after giving dpt. Vaccine. 1 apply ice over it 2 metacin drops 6 drops 3 times a. Day for 2 days.
Sweling and redness will disappear. After 4 to 5 days.
Very imp. Even by giving above treatment swelling persist it is must to consult a doctor for further treatment.

At the moment hot fomentation if very severe pain then metacin tab but good to avoid other drugs at this stage.

Sir my 5 years old daughter has fever from yesterday night with cold. I have given him 1 time crocin syrup and 1 time metacin syrup.

Fever with cold will usually last for 3 to 4 days. You can give either crocin or metcin 125mg per 5ml, 7ml whenever fever is there which can be repeated at an interval of 4 hours. If any other associated symptoms contact your pediatrician.

Give syp metacin suursa 5 ml eight hourly and after consulting a local doctor Get her blood checked for cbc, mp , widal , sgpt and urine r/m and revert back to us with reports

For fever give 5 ml of syp metacin surssa and if it recurs than get her blood checked for CBC mp sgpt widal
