METACIN

    Metacin is prescribed for patients suffering from migraine pain as well as toothache and pain in other areas like the ears. This drug also helps in treating and reducing the pain caused during menstrual cycles. It is available in syrup, suspension, liquid and tablet form. It is also available for intra venous use. The side effects of this drug include facial swelling, damage to the liver and cold.

This is very common after giving dpt. Vaccine. 1 apply ice over it 2 metacin drops 6 drops 3 times a. Day for 2 days.
Sweling and redness will disappear. After 4 to 5 days.
Very imp. Even by giving above treatment swelling persist it is must to consult a doctor for further treatment.

At the moment hot fomentation if very severe pain then metacin tab but good to avoid other drugs at this stage.

Fever with cold will usually last for 3 to 4 days. You can give either crocin or metcin 125mg per 5ml, 7ml whenever fever is there which can be repeated at an interval of 4 hours. If any other associated symptoms contact your pediatrician.

Give syp metacin suursa 5 ml eight hourly and after consulting a local doctor Get her blood checked for cbc, mp , widal , sgpt and urine r/m and revert back to us with reports
