FORMONIDE

    Formonide is prescribed for patients suffering from asthma or Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disorder (COPD). This drug basically treats the obstructions in the air passage which can restrict comfortable breathing, and lead to breathlessness and wheezing. It is available as an inhaler. The side effects of this drug include dizziness, irritability, stuffy nose, dry mouth, abdominal cramps, headaches and muscle pain.

Its better to have gap of some hours between inhaler doses as other wise there is more chances of its systemic absorption causing its levels higher in blood that can produce side effects such as tremors and low potassium levels etc.

for chronic asthma conditions we usually advise tablet montair -lc to be taken once daily..
-it would be beneficial if u do breathing exercises like bhastrika and anulom -vilom in the morning preferably after sunrise in the winters/..it'll help improve ur lung capacity and efficiency
-formonide inhaler which u r using is good to cure acute attacks..u can even try electric nebulizer with budecort respules for acute attacks..it'll help
