- Colvac which contains sodium picosulphate is used for bowel cleansing before colonoscopy. This medicine is also useful for people suffering from constipation. If the patient is already suffering from intestinal obstruction, is pregnant and is experiencing inflammatory bowel disease, he or she should not take this drug. Pregnant women taking this medication run the risk of having children developing some disorder. Children and babies may experience side effects like changes in mental activity, metabolic disorder and alteration in growth rate.

avid constipation, take fiber diet, use green vegetables. avoid straining on stool. take pilex one tab 3 times a day. use anovate cream on anus. consult surgeon.
