CETCIP

Cetcip comprises of cetirizine as its main ingredient. This drug is used as an antihistamine for treating allergic reactions. In most cases, it’s given to patients suffering from allergic rhinitis, conjunctivitis, and hives. CETCIP is available in 10mg tablet forms and must be used twice daily, after food. Some basic side effects are drowsiness, dry mouth, headache, and nausea.

Uses

Cetirizine is an ant allergic which treats cold or allergy symptoms like sneezing, itching, watery eyes or running nose and skin allergies.

Vomiting, dry mouth, diarrhea, drowsiness, stomach pain, excessive tiredness

Driving and operating the machinery should be avoided when you are getting a treatment from cetirizine as it might make you feel sleepy. Consult your doctor if you feel any change in your vision, have severe dry mouth, trouble in urinating, constipation or drowsiness. Don’t start the treatment from this medicine if you are allergic to cetirizine or any other ingredient present in the medicine. People with severe liver or kidney problems, fits or have intolerance to sugar should consult a doctor. Pregnant and breastfeeding woman should take their doctor's advice before consuming.

How it works?

Cetirizine belongs to antihistamines group of medicines and it blocks histamine (a natural substance) that is produced in the body during an allergic reaction.

Take amoxy clav 625 mg od 7 days and levocitrizine bd 7 days and bronchorex for cough 2 tsp 3 times a day and calpol for fever.

It's been two months with eczema still not cured. Have consulted a doctor he prescribed cetcip tablet tenovate gn cream and candiforce 200. Had this for two months regularly still it comes up again.

My Whole body itching taken alegra, atarax, cetcip, after that starting itching what to do this is from last 4. 5 months no allergy found in blood test please.

Stop all anti-allergic medication.

1- marichyadi oil or marich oil 10ml+coconut oil 100ml + camphor 5gm mix thoroughly and apply the itching area twice daily.
2- mahamanjisthadi kwath 20ml+abhayarishta 15ml twice daily with water after food as far as possible take vegetarian diet, avoid curd and non-veg. Continue all for 3 months and report.

We are facing eaching issue in all part of body and more eaching resulting rashes in body. This is extended to all family memebers aven infant is also infected. We have seen a doctor and he provided prednisolone 20mg and a lotion. We are applying this medicine from last one month but we are in same stage. This tablet is helping good but once tablet efect finish we are in same stage. Please help.

First taper the dose of prednisolone and stop it and take tb cetcip at night and if you could provide a photo of the lesion than we will be able to advise you further.
