Hi sir, I take mm kit for abortion. But 3 week finish still bleeding in my vagina. I can't go doctor because it's very secret. What I can do or is there any problems.

Hi lybrate-user I understand the matter of secrecy. But always remember YOU are very important for the family. First of all I wish to point out a mistake: NEVER EVER take such kits without specific prescription & knowing the way of consuming it. NEVER take these medicines without ultrasound diagnosis of pregnancy (few cases we have seen in which pregnancy was implanted in tubes and after taking pills the tubes got ruptured and life was at stake ). As far as your problem is concerned, bleeding in the form of spotting may happen for 1 week or so (after passage of clots and products of conception). I suggest you go for an ultrasound and find out if there are some remains of conception in uterus are still lying. That will help you deciding further management. Hope that works for you. Good luck.

Dear lybrate-user I feel that you are dealing with two different entities at the moment. 1) Hormonal Imbalance: which is giving hair growth around umbilical area & nipple 2) Pre Menstrual Syndrome (PMS: severe abdominal pain, vomiting ,and vertigo during periods are expected due to 'pre menstrual syndrome. But if vertigo component is more troublesome then I suggest you should meet ENT physician for evaluating Meniere’s disease. If your daily quality of life is disturbed then we should consider starting some treatment. Hair growth should also be evaluated if it has shown a remarkable spurt on your body. All the best.

Ms. lybrate-user I hope you have evaluated your thyroid profile in detail. We need to assess complete thyroid profile (T3, T4, TSH & Anti-TPO antibodies). I recommend not to go for any other medicine either homeopathic or ayurvedic in combination with thyroid medicines. These medicines decrease the effect of thyroid medicines. Re-evaluating your thyroid status will decide the increment or decrease of thyroid medicine. For your infertility part you need to get yourself evaluated for the reason. Its mandatory as there are chances that you might be having some other reason due to which you are not able to conceive. (Means thyroid disturbance might not be the only reason for infertility ). Get consultation for headache as the evaluation is necessary coz you are already planning pregnancy and you will not like to get disturbed during pregnancy. Hope this works for you. Wish you luck.

Dear lybrate-user With this information I would remark that chances of pregnancy 'still' exist. You just wait at least 7 days over expected periods' date i.e. You should wait till 7 Feb 2018. On Feb 8, 2018 you perform urine pregnancy test. There is no use of performing this test on / around Feb 1, 2018 as it will false. Hope this helps you.

Dear lybrate-user First of all good luck for your conceptional concerns. Few points for you 1. Keep taking all medicines as prescribed and as per dosage. 2. Discuss with your gynaecologist about the side effects you are facing right now i.e. Constipation 3. Once you confirm your pregnancy either with urine pregnancy test or ultrasound MUST GO TO YOUR GYNAECOLOGIST for change of BP MEDICINE 4. It is STRICTLY advisable that your Thyroid functions and BP must be within normal range. 5. Medicines which need to be changed during pregnancy is B P medicine. Thyroid medicine will be continued, though the dosage might be changed. Rest of the medicines can be continued if required. Hope this helps you.

Dear lybrate-user I strongly RECOMMEND try not to get apprehensive. I understand the anxiousness due to infertility issues. Try to remain calm and adopt some methods to remain calm. As far as your description of reports is concerned endometrial thickness and follicle size increase as we near 13- 14th day. Finally, it depends on the treatment which has been started, for stimulation. In the same scenario your IVF specialist always make a note of 'satisfactory' growth of endometrial thickness and follicle size both. At times they add some medicines / injections once they notice that the growth is not adequate. The treatment policy is titrated on daily basis. It will be of much help if you clarify your doubts with your gynaecologist. She/ He might be the best person in this context as she/ he knows the detail clinical profile of yours. Hope this helps you. Wish you luck.

Dear lybrate-user Knowing your PCOS status it is expected that you might be having irregular / prolonged periods. It is advisable that you should get your pregnancy confirmed by urine test after 7-10 days overdue of your periods. Slight temperature changes do occur during menstrual cycle. You must continue your medication for PCOS. Final confirmation is ultimately by "Ultrasound" after you get urinary pregnancy test positive. Wish you luck.

Dear lybrate-user My opinion is that first of all you get a fresh ultrasound done so that status of fibroids existing in uterus is known. Presence of fibroids in uterus affects outcome of pregnancy. Based upon this you should decide your treatment plan. If fibroids still exist, then plan should be to remove fibroids along with tubal blockage opening. If fibroids do not exist right now then you have two options 1. Go for IVF, without wasting time 2. Consider laparoscopic with concomitant hysteroscopic surgery. The decision for undergoing surgery should be decided with caution as 1. Previous operative history put you on 'risk' of adhesions in pelvic area, which are amenable to re-develop after second surgery as well. 2. Considering re-surgery, as well, natural conception chances exist but are reduced. It is also advisable that you should visit an expert who is well versed with advanced laparoscopic & hysteroscopic surgery skills. Before undergoing this you must also take an opinion of IVF specialist / Reproductive Medicine specialist. Hope this opinion helps you.

Dear lybrate-user It is quite expected after miscarriage / abortion to have delayed periods. As it takes some time for disturbed hormones to regularize. That is why periods will resume a bit delayed. One caution is that you should not have intercourse till the time you resume your periods. Or you should use barrier contraception (condom) if going ahead with sexual practices. Hope this works for you. Thanks.

Dear lybrate-user I-pill contains high dose of hormone which is purposefully given to break the normal hormonal levels for conception during that "index" menstrual cycle i.e. In which you had intercourse and chances exist for pregnancy. This high dose of hormone disturbs the normal hormonal levels, as mentioned. Human body takes time to normalize the levels due to which periods get delayed. Nothing to worry about as your consecutive pregnancy tests are negative. All the best.
