I am very skinny and want o get a good body so should I take protein powder to become little fatty.
Weight gain is muscle gain and not fat gain. In your condition your energy requirement is very high so whatever you eat is used as a source of energy and you do not make muscle. To gain muscles you will have to eat at least 6 meals (high calorie) in a day at a regular interval with a proper ratio of proteins and carbohydrates. Proteins will help you gain body mass while carbohydrates will help you give energy. Protein foods are eggs, fish, chicken, milk and milk products, meat and dals. Carbohydrate foods are roti and rice, potatoes, sweet potatoes. You have to eat vegetables and fuits and use healthy and good fats for cooking like ghee, cold pressed mustrad or til oil. You will also have to do some weight training exercise to help you build mass into the body. Also drink enough water to keep you hydrated. Protein powders like whey is very good. But you need to exercise well which is weight training to get the best benefits of all the proteins consumed in a day and it will also help to build up the mass.

Get hormonal assessment by your gynecologist. If everything normal, Then Silicone breast implant or fat injection are two best way to enhance breasts.

Hi lybrate-user it's because of muscle strain. You can get rid of it by applying a knee cap or strap your knee joint for some days around 2 weeks.in those two weeks you need to do knee rehab which follows 1. Apply ice for 5 to 10 mins in a circular manner. 2. Apply crab bandage to get rid of pain. 3. Taping can be done for strained muscle. 4. Always do warm up properly for knee joint followed by exercises and cool down. 5. For more details text back and get step by step instructions n charts. Regards.

I have been suffering from Cervical Spondylosis since about 6 months now. Though it wasn't very severe in the past but off late the pain in my arms and shoulders are a little too much. It's better while sitting but while sleeping the pain is bad. Will it help by using a cervical pillow while sleeping. Is physiotherapy Or chiropractic therapy recommended.

Cervical spondylosis, also known as cervical osteoarthritis or neck arthritis, is a common, age-related condition that affects the joints and discs in your neck. Treatments for cervical spondylosis focus on providing pain relief, lowering the risk of permanent damage, and helping you lead a normal life. Nonsurgical methods are usually very effective. Heat is an effective mean of reducing and relieving pain in cervical spondylosis. You can use hot packs at home. Some exercises like static contractions and strengthening exercises are needs to be done. Isometric contractions of the cervical muscles improve the muscle endurance and tone as the contractions improve the blood supply thereby the nutrition to the muscle is increased and hence muscle strengthening is done. Please see a physiotherapist for these exercises. You may need traction and soft tissue techniques for the management of cs. Postural awareness is very important. As the condition progresses, the abnormality of posture also increases, thus from the initial stage itself, postural awareness through proper advice and education should be planned and initiated by the physiotherapist. Your doctor/physiotherapist may not be able to reverse the condition, but they can often recommend conservative treatments to help you overcome the discomfort and pain. Best wishes.

Hi lybrate-user Your weight according to your height and age is perfectly normal. But still if you are concerned of healthy diet then 1 Drink plenty of water according to your weight atleast 2L in whole day 2 Do exercise regularly 3 Eat cucumber salad and broccoli 4 Avoid spicy and oily food 5 Have your dinner atleast 2 hr before you sleep. 6 Avoid alcohol.
