    What is upper respiratory tract infection?

    Upper respiratory tract infection (uri) is a contagious infection of the nose, throat, and airways.

    Uris are caused by viruses the vast majority of the time; however, bacteria are also capable of becoming the offender in some situations.

    Types of upper respiratory tract infection:

    Sinusiti: sinusitis is a form of infection of the upper respiratory system that affects the sinuses. It is caused by bacteria, viruses, or fungi and can result in inflammation of the sinuses and nasal passages, leading to a stuffy nose, headaches, and facial pain.

    Rhinitis: an upper respiratory tract infection characterised by inflammation of the nasal passages. Symptoms include sneezing, nasal congestion, runny nose, itchy eyes, and sore throat.

    Pharyngitis: an upper respiratory tract infection that affects the pharynx (the part of the throat located behind the nose). Symptoms include sore throat, difficulty swallowing, fever, and swollen lymph nodes in the neck.

    Laryngitis: an upper respiratory tract infection that affects the larynx (the voice box). Symptoms include hoarseness or loss of voice, coughing, and sore throat.

    Bronchitis: an upper respiratory tract infection that affects the bronchi (the airways between the trachea and lungs). Symptoms include coughing up thick mucus (phlegm), chest pain or discomfort when breathing or coughing, fatigue, and shortness of breath.

    What are the signs and symptoms of upper respiratory tract infection?

    Common cold: the most common symptom of an upper respiratory tract infection is a cold, which is characterised by a runny nose, sneezing, coughing and congestion.

    Sore throat: a sore throat is a common symptom of an upper respiratory tract infection and can be accompanied by difficulty swallowing or hoarseness.

    Cough: coughing is also a common symptom of an upper respiratory tract infection and can range from dry to wet (producing mucus).

    Nasal congestion: nasal congestion (or stuffiness) due to swelling of the nasal passages can also occur with an upper respiratory tract infection.

    Headache: a headache may accompany an upper respiratory tract infection, especially if the person has a sinus infection or sinusitis.

    Fever: a fever may be present with an upper respiratory tract infection, depending on the cause and severity of the illness.

    What are possible complications of upper respiratory tract infection?

    Acute bronchitis: this is a common complication of an upper respiratory tract infection, as the infection can spread to the lower respiratory tract. Symptoms include wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, and shortness of breath.

    Pneumonia: a bacterial or viral infection of the lungs that can develop as a secondary complication of an infection of the upper respiratory tract. Symptoms may include fever, chest pain, and difficulty breathing.

    Sinusitis: sinusitis is an inflammation of the sinuses that can be a consequence of an upper respiratory tract infection. Sinusitis can be caused by either a bacterial or a viral infection. Symptoms may include headache, facial pressure and pain, nasal congestion and discharge, and fatigue.

    Ear infection: an inflammation of the ear caused by a bacterial or viral infection that can be a complication of an upper respiratory tract infection. Symptoms may include earache, fever, and fluid drainage from the ear.

    Asthma exacerbation: an acute worsening of asthma symptoms caused by an upper respiratory tract infection that can lead to severe breathing difficulties if not treated promptly with appropriate medication.

    Foods to eat and avoid in case of cough

    Foods to eat:

    Fruits and vegetables: fruits and vegetables are packed with vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and fibre that can help boost your immune system and reduce inflammation in your body.

    Whole grains: whole grains like oats, brown rice, quinoa, and whole wheat bread are high in b vitamins and magnesium which can help reduce inflammation in the respiratory system.

    Honey: honey has natural antimicrobial properties that can help ease a cough as well as soothe a sore throat.

    Ginger: ginger is known to be an effective natural remedy for easing a cough as it helps break up mucus.

    Turmeric: the component of turmeric known as curcumin is responsible for the anti-inflammatory and immune-boosting effects of the spice.

    Foods to avoid:

    Dairy products: dairy products like milk, cheese, ice cream, etc, can worsen congestion due to their mucus-producing nature.

    Processed foods: processed foods such as chips, cookies, etc, can cause inflammation in the body which can worsen your symptoms.

    Alcohol: alcohol is known to be dehydrating and should be avoided when you are suffering from a cough or cold.

    Home remedies and tips to avoid upper respiratory tract infections

    Gargling with warm water mixed with salt: curcumin, which is found in turmeric, is the component of turmeric that is responsible for the anti-inflammatory and immune-boosting properties of the spice.

    Drinking tulsi tea: tulsi or holy basil contains anti-inflammatory, antiviral, and antibacterial properties which help to fight against infections that cause upper respiratory tract infections.

    Drinking ginger tea: because of the anti-inflammatory and antioxidant characteristics that ginger possesses, it is a good treatment for the symptoms that accompany infections of the upper respiratory tract.

    Hot compress: applying a hot compress on the chest and throat helps to reduce chest congestion and improve breathing by loosening the mucus in the lungs.

    Inhaling steam: inhaling steam helps in reducing chest congestion, relieving sinus pressure, and improving breathing by loosening mucus in the airways.

    Drinking turmeric milk: turmeric contains anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties which help to reduce fever, sore throat, and other symptoms of upper respiratory tract infections.

    Eating garlic: garlic is known for its antimicrobial properties which helps to reduce inflammation in the upper respiratory tract caused by bacterial or viral infection.

    Drinking honey and lemon juice: honey is known for its antiviral properties while lemon juice is rich in vitamin c which helps to boost immunity and fight against infection causing bacteria or viruses that cause upper respiratory tract infection.

    Eating curry leaves: curry leaves are known for their antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant properties which help to reduce symptoms associated with upper respiratory tract infections such as cough, colds, sore throat etc, thereby providing relief from it quickly.

    Taking ayurvedic herbs such as amalaki (amla), guduchi (tinospora cordifolia), yastimadhu (glycyrrhiza glabra), bharangi (clerodendrum serratum) etc: these herbs have strong antiviral properties that can help fight against bacterial or viral infections causing upper respiratory tract infections effectively

    What are the surgical treatments for upper respiratory tract infection?

    Adenoidectomy: this is a surgical procedure to remove enlarged adenoids, which are located behind the nose and at the back of the throat. Adenoidectomy helps to reduce the symptoms of upper respiratory tract infection, such as difficulty breathing through the nose, snoring, and recurrent ear infections.

    Tonsillectomy: this is a surgical procedure to remove enlarged tonsils, which are located at the back of the throat. Tonsillectomy helps reduce symptoms associated with upper respiratory tract infections, such as sore throat, difficulty swallowing and recurrent ear infections.

    Septoplasty: this is a surgical procedure to repair a deviated septum, which is caused by misalignment of tissues in the nose that separate one nostril from another. Septoplasty helps to improve airflow through the nasal passages and reduce symptoms associated with upper respiratory tract infections, such as congestion and difficulty breathing through the nose.

    Endoscopic sinus surgery: this is a minimally invasive surgery used to open blocked sinuses and improve airflow through them. Endoscopic sinus surgery can help relieve symptoms of upper respiratory tract infection by reducing nasal congestion and improving drainage of mucus from the sinuses.

    Best doctors to consult for upper respiratory tract infection?

    Primary care physician - your primary care physician is the best doctor to consult for an upper respiratory tract infection. They can diagnose the infection and provide treatment options, including prescriptions if needed.

    Family doctor - a family doctor is also an excellent option for treating an upper respiratory tract infection. They can provide diagnosis and treatment, as well as guidance on how to manage the infection in the future.

    Infectious disease specialist - an infectious disease specialist may be necessary if your infection has become complicated or is caused by a virus or bacteria that is difficult to diagnose or treat. They can provide specialised care and expertise in treating infections.

    Pulmonologist - pulmonologists are a sub-specialty of physicians that focus on diagnosing, treating, and preventing illnesses and conditions that affect the lungs and other components of the respiratory system. If your upper respiratory tract infection is severe or persistent, a pulmonologist may be able to provide more advanced treatments such as medication, inhalers, oxygen therapy, or even surgery if necessary.

    Pregnancy is the period in which there is a development of offspring inside the womb of a woman. Pregnancy is also known by another name i. E, the period of gestation. The pregnancy lasts usually for forty weeks after having the last period. The symptoms of being pregnant are problems with urinating frequently, nausea, missed periods, hunger, vomiting and tenderness of the breast. You can even prevent pregnancy by taking birth control pills. The changes in the breasts are noticed from the first week after the conception to the time till the delivery of the baby. The period of gestation is divided into three trimesters, i. E, first trimester, second trimester and one third trimester. The complications that are faced during the pregnancy are anemia caused due to the pregnancy, miscarriage, vomiting, gestational diabetes, high blood pressure caused due to the pregnancy and nausea. Pregnancy can also be prevented by the abortion. The changes in the breast are common during the pregnancy. The changes in the breast are caused due to hormonal changes during the pregnancy. Sometimes, due to the changes in the breast, colostrum is leaked during the pregnancy. During the pregnancy, it is common that there is an enlargement of the breasts and also there is soreness of the breast. ;

    In the first trimester of pregnancy, the breast may swell up and there is a tenderness of the breast. The duration of the first trimester pregnancy may be from the first week to thirteen weeks after the pregnancy. There is an enlargement of the breasts during the period of the gestation.     The period of pregnancy from 14 weeks to 27 weeks is known as the second trimester. During the second trimester of the pregnancy, there is a reduction in the tenderness of the breast as compared to the first trimester. The breasts even get heavier and even bigger. For getting proper support, the woman needs a bigger bra. There is a discharge of a yellowish substance known as colostrum in between the 16th week and 19th week after the pregnancy. Colostrum is a type of yellowish substance that helps in preventing the diseases of the babies. The yellowish substance indicates that the breasts are becoming ready for breastfeeding. This is a sign that the breasts are getting ready for breastfeeding. The nipples along with the surrounding areas become dark in color along with the increase in its size. On the areola, small bumps are also visible. But these bumps last till the date of delivery. During pregnancy, some women may also get stretch marks on the breasts. The veins of the breast also become clearly visible during the period of the second trimester. ;

    The period of pregnancy from the 28th week till the child birth is known as the third trimester. If there is no leakage of colostrum during the second trimester, then, in such cases, the leakage of colostrum from the breast starts now. There is an enlargement of the breast along with the heaviness of the breast. During this period, you even need a larger bra for getting the proper support.

    ;

    Things that can be done in order to being normal during the breast changes are as follows:

    For soaking the leaks, the breast pads can be used inside the bras. There are two types of breast pads available. One type of breast pads can be washed very easily and the second type of breast pads can be used for once and then, it can be thrown. You can select the breast pads according to your comfort

    Wear a tight bra for getting the proper support at the sides and even at the back if the tenderness or soreness is felt in the breasts. Try to wear cotton bras during the pregnancy as they make you feel very comfortable. Bras that are of the padded shoulder can also be used during the pregnancy.

    Avoid using the soaps on and around the areas of the nipples. Soaps should be avoided around the areas of nipples because the soaps can make the skin dry around the nipples. So, warm water should be used instead of using the soaps on and around the nipples

    Wear a sleep bra while sleeping at night. Sleep bra should be soft and light weight for getting support while sleeping

    Try to air dry your breast while you take a bath for a few minutes.

    ;

    Conclusion:

    Thank you for giving your precious time to read this tip. Now, I hope you had the necessary information about the breast changes during the pregnancy. Changes in the breasts arise due to the changes in the hormones. The symptoms of the changes in the breast during the pregnancy are enlargement of the breast, nipple discharge, discomfort, tenderness of the breast, stretch marks, areola bumps etc. You can lower the discomfort by using lotions, wearing breast pads for leakage, checking breasts for the lumps, applying oils etc.

    Children are prone to infections like colds and coughs. Exposure to such viruses strengthens a kid s immune systems and their ability to combat them. If the coughing isn t severe or accompanied by additional, serious symptoms, you can assist your kid in managing their symptoms. ;

    You can do so by making them feel comfortable and well rested as they do not require any type of medication or treatment if the symptoms are not affecting them. Many kids who have a cough or cold can often be seen playing happily and sleeping without any trouble.

    ;

    Typically, a cough lasts for two weeks. Common viruses that are not treatable are the cause of many coughs. Treat symptoms only if they make your child uncomfortable or your child couldn t sleep properly. The goal of cough treatment should be to keep your child hydrated, calm, and well-rested.

    Breast milk

    ;

    Packed with lots of nutrients and antibacterial properties, breast milk is the greatest natural treatment for every sickness and one of the top indian home remedies for infant cold and cough. Some kids who have a cold or a cough find it difficult to latch. Continue providing breast milk without concern. For a simple cold and cough, you don't really need to administer any further medication. The issue will be resolved with breast milk only.

    Put some breast milk drops in nose

    ;

    Not much popular practice, squirting a few drops of breast milk in your toddler's nose can aid in the speedy recovery from cough and cold.

    Oil massage

    ;

    A light massage with coconut or mustard oil will help your infant feel better and stop coughing. Give your child a back and chest massage.

    Massage with herbal coconut oil

    ;

    Warm up coconut oil with some tulsi leaves to make a natural herbal coconut oil for massage that has the therapeutic qualities of the tulsi. Camphor can also be added in a small amount. Before putting your child to sleep, massage his or her chest to help relieve their coughing.

    Saline nasal drops

    ;

    These over-the-counter nasal drops can be a great help for you to help clear the mucus by softening it. Once the mucus gets soft, you can clear it with the help of a nasal syringe, nose blowing or also with the help of q-tip, in case the first two options can t be used.

    You should always be very attentive while using saline nasal drops and always adhere to the usage directions printed on the bottle. If your toddler wakes up coughing, saline drops before going to bed or in the middle of their sleep can help with the coughing.

    ;

    Sitting in a warm bath

    This method can also help open nasal passages and soften mucus if it's tough to get saline nasal drops into your toddler's nose. Infants benefit from the steam from a warm bath because it is not advised to provide them proper steam. Running a hot water faucet for a while will also create steam in your bathroom. Sit in the bathroom with your child on your lap for 10 to 15 minutes. It is the best indian home cure for treating chest congestion, and cough in infants.

    ;

    Keep them hydrated

    It's crucial to keep your child hydrated when they are sick. Water keeps the body healthy and maintains the strength and moisture of the airways. ;

    Typically, 8 ounces, or 0.23 liters of water is recommended for every year of your child s life. That means for one-year-old at least one serving of (8 ounces, or 0.23 liters) water is required per day, while two servings will be sufficient daily for a two-year-old.

    ;

    Younger kids might require additional water if they're not drinking their normal quantity of milk or eating much. Offer them water whenever you can (at least every hour or so), but don't force them for it.

    To promote fluid intake and alleviate a sore throat, you can also give them popsicles in addition to water.

    ;

    Honey

    A natural cough suppressant and sweetener, honey has antimicrobial qualities that may help fight infections of the upper respiratory tract. You can give 1-2 tablespoons of honey to your kid older than one year before bedtime to help soothe their coughing and also to promote sleep. ;

    To help your youngster ingest the honey, you can also try combining it with warm water but always be mindful of the added sugar intake. ;

    Also, children under the age of one should not be given honey due to the possibility of botulism, a rare yet serious illness that affects the body's nervous system.

    Make them sleep in an elevated position

    ;

    It might be challenging to get your older toddler to sleep with their head resting on one or more pillows, especially if they have a tendency to move about a lot when they're asleep.

    Try raising one end of the mattress as an alternative to using pillows in the crib or bed to support your toddler's head. To achieve this, place a towel that has been wrapped up underneath the end of the mattress where your child's head sits.

    ;

    To raise your toddler's head in the crib or bed without using pillows, you can alleviate one side of the mattress by tucking a towel that has been rolled up underneath where your child's head sits. You can also take expert advice before doing this.

    The use of pillows while sleeping is not recommended for infants under the age of one and a half. ;

    Maintain humidity indoors

    ;

    Adding moisture to the air facilitates the thinning of mucus and prevents the drying out of your child's airways. Coughing and congestion may also be reduced by this.

    Always go for cold air humidifiers as they are better against warm ones and lets your child breathe more safely and effectively.

    ;

    Garlic and ajwain fumes

    Garlic is a very potent medication with anti-bacterial characteristics, and it is frequently used as a home remedy for little babies suffering from colds. Ajwain (carom seeds) are also effective against germs and viruses. On a tawa, roast a few large garlic cloves and a few pinches of ajwain for about a minute. Let your kid inhale the fumes coming out from the warm mixture by keeping it at a safe distance. This will help to soothe their coughing. ;

    Use essential oils

    ;

    These herbal products are becoming more and more popular, and when applied topically or diffused into the air, some of them may be useful for reducing coughing.

    For aromatherapy use only those essential oils that are safe and efficient for use with kids older than three years. Some of these essential oils include ginger, sweet orange, orange, and mandarin citrus, as well as lavender and peppermint.

    ;

    However, before using essential oils, always consult your doctor.

    Conclusion

    ;

    When treating coughs or colds, home remedies may be more effective than prescription medications as cold and cough medications sold over-the-counter (otc) may have negative effects in young children. If your ward is older than six years you can give them prescribed medicines as per the instructions, however, the best course of action is to provide comfort measures at home to help them with the symptoms.

    ग्राइप वाटर क्या है?
    ग्राइप वॉटर पेट दर्द, दांत निकलने या गैस से पीड़ित शिशुओं को दिया जाने वाला एक प्रकार का हर्बल उपचार है। इसे भले ही कई देशों में मान्यता नहीं है पर भारत समेत कई देशों में इसका पारंपरिक रूप से उपयोग होता है। पारंपरिक चिकित्सा के दृष्टिकोण से, ग्राइप वॉटर को प्रभावी माना जाता है क्योंकि यह पेट और आंतों में गैस के बुलबुले को तोड़ने में मदद करता है।

    ग्राइप वाटर की मुख्य सामग्री
    ग्राइप वॉटर में मुख्य सामग्री अदरक,सौंफ और सोडियम बाइकार्बोनेट हैं, जो एक साथ मिलकर पेट खराब होने से राहत दिलाने का काम करते हैं। इसके अतिरिक्त, तीन मुख्य हिस्से, अंगूर के पानी में कैमोमाइल, दालचीनी, लौंग, डिल बीज (सोआ- जड़ी बूटी), नींबू बाम (पुदीने की प्रजाति का पौधा) और जायफल जैसी अन्य जड़ी-बूटियाँ भी हो सकती हैं। अलग अलग कंपनी अपने बनाए फार्मूले के हिसाब से इन चीजो में बदलाव करती रहती है।

    ग्राइप वाटर के उपयोग के क्या फायदे हैं?
    ग्राइप वॉटर का सबसे आम उपयोग शिशुओं में पेट के दर्द से राहत दिलाने के लिए है। ग्राइप वाटर का उपयोग गैस और अपच से राहत देने और हल्के लैक्सेटिव के रूप में भी किया जा सकता है। कुछ लोग यह भी दावा करते हैं कि ग्राइप वॉटर उल्टी और हिचकी को रोकने में मदद कर सकता है। इसके अलावा, ग्राइप वॉटर का उपयोग उन शिशुओं के लिए विशेष रूप से सहायक हो सकता है जो दूध पिलाने के बाद असुविधा का अनुभव करते हैं। शिशुओं के लिए ग्राइप वॉटर का उपयोग करने के कई फायदे हैं जो इस प्रकार हैं:

    कफ से राहत
    कुछ माता-पिता भी बच्चे के बलगम से राहत के लिए भी ग्राइप वॉटर का इस्तेमाल करते हैं। क्योंकि ग्राइप वॉटर में अदरक, सौंफ और पुदीना जैसी जड़ी-बूटियां होती हैं, यह शिशु के पाचन तंत्र को शांत करने में मदद कर सकता है और छाती से बलगम को साफ करने में मदद करने के लिए एक एक्सपेक्टोरेंट के रूप में भी काम करता है।

    पाचन में सहायक
    ग्राइप वाटर का उपयोग सदियों से पाचन में सहायता के लिए किया जाता रहा है। इसमें अदरक और सौंफ जैसे तत्व होते हैं जो पाचन संबंधी समस्याओं के इलाज में प्रभावी माने जाते हैं। ग्राइप वॉटर गैस, ब्लोटिंग और पेट से जुड़ी अन्य समस्याओं से राहत दिलाने में मदद कर सकता है। इसके अलावा, ग्राइप वाटर में मौजूद सोडियम बाइकार्बोनेट पेट के एसिड को बेअसर कर सकता है और एसिडिटी से राहत प्रदान कर सकता है।

    रोग प्रतिरोधक क्षमता बढ़ाए
    ग्राइप वॉटर में रोग प्रतिरोधक क्षमता बढ़ाने वाले गुण होते हैं। इसमें पाई जाने वाली सामग्रियां आपके बच्चे को संक्रमण और बीमारी से बचाने में मदद कर सकती हैं। इसके अतिरिक्त, ग्राइप वॉटर में मौजूद प्रोबायोटिक्स आपके बच्चे की प्रतिरक्षा प्रणाली को मजबूत करने में भी मदद कर सकते हैं। साथ ही सोआ का तेल और अन्य सामग्रियां बच्चे के सिस्टम को डिटॉक्स करने में मदद करती हैं। यह प्रक्रिया बच्चे के समग्र स्वास्थ्य और जीवन शक्ति में सुधार करने में मदद कर सकती है।

    पेट दर्द
    पेट दर्द एक ऐसी स्थिति है जो शिशुओं में लंबे समय तक और अत्यधिक रोने की विशेषता है। यह आमतौर पर तब शुरू होता है जब बच्चा लगभग 2 सप्ताह का होता है और 4-5 महीने तक रहता है। पेट दर्द का सटीक कारण अज्ञात है, लेकिन माना जाता है कि यह पेट दर्द या गैस से जुड़ा होता है। पेट के दर्द से राहत दिलाने और बच्चे को आराम देने में ग्राइप वॉटर मददगार हो सकता है।

    मल त्याग में सुधार
    ग्राइप वाटर का उपयोग कब्ज को दूर करने और शिशुओं में मल त्याग में सुधार करने के लिए भी किया जा सकता है। ग्राइप वॉटर में मौजूद जड़ी-बूटियों में हल्का लैक्सेटिव प्रभाव होता है जो मल को नरम करने में मदद कर सकता है और उन्हें पास करना आसान बना सकता है।

    हिचकी का इलाज
    हिचकी डायाफ्राम की ऐंठन के कारण होती है, जो एक मांसपेशी है जो सांस लेने में मदद करती है। वे कष्टप्रद हो सकते हैं, खासकर जब आपका बच्चा दूध पिलाने की कोशिश कर रहा हो। ग्राइप वॉटर पेट को आराम देकर और नसों को शांत करके हिचकी का इलाज करने में मदद कर सकता है। ग्राइप वॉटर में मौजूद अदरक पेट की मांसपेशियों को आराम देने और उन्हें ऐंठन से बचाने में मदद करता है।

    दांत निकलने में आसानी
    दांत निकलना एक ऐसी प्रक्रिया है जिसमें आपके बच्चे के पहले दांत मसूड़ों से निकलने लगते हैं। यह आमतौर पर 6 महीने की उम्र के आसपास शुरू होता है और तब तक बना रह सकता है जब तक कि बच्चा लगभग 2 साल का नहीं हो जाता। दांत निकलना बच्चे के लिए एक दर्दनाक प्रक्रिया हो सकती है और इससे चिड़चिड़ापन और बेचैनी हो सकती है। ग्राइप वॉटर दांत निकलने से जुड़े दर्द और परेशानी को कम करने में मदद कर सकता है। ग्राइप वॉटर में मौजूद तत्व मसूड़ों को सुन्न कर देते हैं जिससे दांत निकलने के दर्द से राहत मिलती है। इसके अतिरिक्त, ग्राइप वॉटर में मौजूद प्रोबायोटिक्स भी सूजन को कम करने और मसूड़ों को शांत करने में मदद कर सकते हैं।

    ग्राइप वाटर के दुष्प्रभाव क्या हैं?
    जबकि ग्राइप वाटर आम तौर पर सुरक्षित होता है, इसके कुछ संभावित दुष्प्रभाव हैं जिनके बारे में पता होना चाहिए।

    एलर्जी
    3% शिशुओं में ग्राइप वाटर देने से उनमें पित्ती विकसित होने की शिकायत मिली हैई। यह ग्राइप वाटर में मौजूद किसी भी सामग्री से एलर्जी की वजह से होता है। अगर बच्चे को जब आपका शिशु ग्राइप वॉटर का सेवन करता है और उसे कोई प्रतिक्रिया होती है, तो यह सबसे पहले उसके होठों या जीभ पर दिखाई देगा। होंठ और जीभ सूज सकते हैं और शिशु को सांस लेने में कठिनाई हो सकती है। ये एनाफिलेक्सिस के संकेत हैं, जो एक गंभीर एलर्जी रिएक्शन है। अगर ग्राइप वॉटर लेने के बाद आपके बच्चे को पित्ती या कोई और रिएक्शन होता है , तो इसका इस्तेमाल बंद कर दें और अपने बाल रोग विशेषज्ञ से संपर्क करें।

    आखों में पानी आना
    ग्राइप वॉटर लेने के बाद कुछ शिशुओं में आंखों से पानी आना एक और दुष्प्रभाव है। आमतौर पर कुछ दिनों में यह खत्म हो जाता है। ग्राइप वॉटर में सोडियम बाइकार्बोनेट होता है, जो कुछ शिशुओं में गुर्दे की पथरी का कारण बन सकता है। अगर ग्राइप वॉटर लेने के बाद आपके शिशु की आंखों में पानी आता है, तो अपने पिडियाट्रिशियन से मिलें।

    उल्टी होना
    कुछ बच्चे ग्राइप वॉटर पीने के बाद उल्टी कर देते हैं क्योंकि पेय में कार्बोनेशन से गैस्ट्रिक गैस और सूजन हो सकती है। ग्राइप वॉटर में मौजूद सोडियम बाइकार्बोनेट होता है, जो उल्टी का कारण बन सकता है। इसके अतिरिक्त, कुछ ग्राइप वाटर फॉर्मूले में अदरक भी होता है, जो एक ज्ञात इमेटिक (उल्ट कराने वाला पदार्थ) है।

    खुजली
    खुजली ग्राइप वाटर का एक सामान्य दुष्प्रभाव है। यह संभावना है क्योंकि ग्राइप वॉटर में मौजूद तत्व पेट और आंतों में जलन पैदा कर सकते हैं, जिससे खुजली की अनुभूति हो सकती है। यदि आपके बच्चे को ग्राइप वॉटर लेने के बाद काफी खुजली हो रही है, तो किसी अन्य संभावित कारणों का पता लगाने के लिए उनके बाल रोग विशेषज्ञ से बात करें।

    सांस लेने की समस्या
    कुछ शिशुओं में श्वसन संबंधी समस्याएँ भी पैदा कर सकता है। ग्राइप वॉटर में मुख्य सामग्री जड़ी-बूटियों से बनी साबुत लौंग, सौंफ के बीज, अदरक की जड़ और मुलेठी की जड़ है। ये सुगंधित मसाले बच्चे के फेफड़ों और गले में जलन पैदा कर सकते हैं, जिससे सांस की समस्या हो सकती है। यदि आपके बच्चे को ग्राइप वाटर लेने के बाद सांस लेने में कठिनाई हो रही है, तो बेहतर होगा कि आप इसे देना बंद कर दें और कोई दूसरा उपाय आजमाएं।

    Hiccups are very common for people of all age groups. They generally come and go and are there only for a short duration. There is nothing more cute than observing a baby hiccuping. But it may be dangerous if it occurs for a longer duration of time and may indicate an underlying medical condition and requires medical attention. A toddler may experience hiccuping if he or she inhales a lot of air or eats too fast. Certain other factors which can lead to hiccuping include intake of carbonated beverages and spicy foods, getting excited too quickly and exposed to quick temperature changes. Many believe that getting hiccups means someone is thinking about them. But the actual reason why people get hiccups is because of sudden, involuntary contractions of the diaphragm. Hiccuping is not anything to worry about if it does not contain for longer durations and is completely normal for babies. Their digestive systems are developing and will experience spasms in the diaphragm when air gets accumulated in their stomachs. The various causes which could lead to hiccuping in babies include

    ;

    Breathing too much air- babies usually swallow air while feeding from the bottle. This is the major cause of hiccuping in babies.

    Irritants in the atmosphere- irritants in the atmosphere can cause coughing and contractions in the diaphragm.

    ;

    Allergic reactions/asthma- allergies or lung inflammation can cause the diaphragm to contract suddenly, causing hiccups. Milk protein allergy is a common reason for hiccups in babies.

    Gastroesophageal reflux disease- babies who experience gastroesophageal reflux often get hiccups, as the reverse flow of food particles irritates the oesophageal nerve endings and stimulates stomach spasms.

    ;

    Excessive feeding- feeding the baby too much is also a thing which should be avoided as it leads to hiccups and bloating.

    How to prevent hiccups in babies? ;

    Because hiccups have several triggers it is possible to stop them all together. Some things should be taken care of to prevent hiccups in babies a few of which are described below-

    ;

    Feeding position- adjusting the baby's position and holding him upright while feeding can help reduce spasms in the diaphragm.

    Breastfeeding- as opposed to bottle feeding, breastfeeding can help prevent your baby from swallowing too much air which would be better.

    ;

    Back massage- massaging the back of the baby can prevent hiccups as well as provide relief from it.

    Burping your baby- burping your baby in between feedings could be useful in getting rid of the unwanted air accumulated in the stomach and hence prevent hiccups.

    ;

    Feeding a relaxed baby- always try to feed the baby when he or she is relaxed as it helps in proper digestion and does not let air accumulate in the stomach hence preventing hiccups.

    Avoid overfeeding- avoid overfeeding your baby at one go. Instead, feed him smaller meals twice or thrice. ;

    Natural remedies for toddler hiccups - ;

    Usually, hiccups last for 10-15 minutes in babies and go away on their own. However, if they last longer, you can try a few tips to make them stop.

    In this article we have discussed a few natural remedies which could help in getting rid of hiccups of your toddler. These include-

    ;

    Holding breath- ask your toddler to hold the breath for a few seconds (normally for 15 to 20 seconds) and then leave it slowly and if it doesn't work, repeat the process.

    Water- give the baby more water to drink to soothe the stomach and get rid of the spasms.

    Distract your baby- most times, distracting the baby can help stop the hiccups. Try to distract him by giving him his favourite toy or playing his favourite cartoon.

    Swallow sugar- ask your baby to swallow a teaspoon of sugar. You may find it weird but it might help in getting rid of the hiccups.

    You can give your toddler a slice of lemon with a little bit of salt sprinkled on it but never forget to wash his or her mouth with water as the citric acid can destroy the teeth.

    Bring the knees of the toddler upto his chest and ask them to hold it for a few seconds.

    Massaging the carotid artery could also help to get rid of the hiccups.

    You can give your baby some honey as it could also help in getting rid of the hiccups.

    Lay the baby on the bed and compress his or her chest putting little pressure on the diaphragm which could be useful.

    Visit the doctor immediately if the hiccups don't stop even after an hour and don't rely on any other remedy.

    बच्चे को मिट्टी खाने की आदत
    बच्चों को लॉन या ज़मीन पर बैठकर खेलना बहुत पसंद होता है। ऐसे में वो अकसर अपने आसपास पड़ी चीज़ों को मिंह में भी डाल लेते हैं।यह काफी स्वाभाविक बात है। मिट्टी खाना एक बच्चे के लिए काफी स्वाभाविक लग सकता है, लेकिन यह उनके स्वास्थ्य और सेहत के लिए समस्या पैदा कर सकता है।

    माता-पिता अक्सर इस बात को लेकर परेशान होते रहते है कि बच्चे को मिट्टी खाने से कैसे रोका जाए। बच्चे का मिट्टी खाना परेशानी का कारण इसलिए भी है क्योंकि मिट्टी में कई तरह के बैक्टीरिया, वायरस और कीटाणु होते हैं। ये आपके बच्चे के स्वास्थ्य के लिए हानिकारक हो सकते हैं।

    इसलिए बच्चे को मिट्टी खाने से कैसे रोका जाए यह माता-पिता के लिए एक बहुत ही स्वाभाविक चिंता का विषय बन जाता है। तो आइए आपको बताते हैं किस तरह आप अपने बच्चे की इस आदत को छुड़ा सकते हैं।

    क्य़ों है बच्चे को मिट्टी खाने की आदत
    बच्चे के जीवन के शुरुआती चरण में यह काफी स्वाभाविक है कि वह अपने आस-पास की हर चीज को समझने और जानने की कोशिश करेगा। बच्चा अपने आस-पास आने वाली हर चीज को छूएगा, महसूस करेगा, चखेगा, देखेगा और सूँघेगा। हालांकि ये कभी-कभी उत्सुकता खतरनाक हो सकती है।

    दरअसल बच्चों का इम्यून सिस्टम कमजोर होता है और वे जल्दी ही कीटाणुओं और अन्य प्रदूषकों का शिकार हो सकते हैं। हालांकि, अगर यह समस्या बच्चे को थोड़ा समझदार होने तक भी बनी रहती है तो यह माता-पिता के लिए बहुत बड़ी चिंता का विषय बन जाती है। वैसे तो एक बच्चे का कागज और गत्ते जैसी चीज़ें खाना सामान्य बात मानी जा सकती है।

    लेकिन अगर कोई बच्चा तीन से चार साल का हो गया हो और तब भी ऐसा कर रहा हो तो डॉक्टर इसे और विशेषज्ञ इसे पाइका नाम की बीमारी के रूप में वर्गीकृत करते हैं। यह विकार आयरन, जिंक या कैल्शियम की कमी के कारण हो सकता है। पाइका की में बच्चे को विभिन्न गैर-खाद्य पदार्थों को खाने की इच्छा होती है।

    बच्चे के लिए मिट्टी खाने से जुड़े खतरे क्या हैं?
    मिट्टी खाने वाले बच्चे को गैस्ट्रोइंटेस्टाइनल सिस्टम से संबंधित कई स्वास्थ्य समस्याएं हो सकती हैं। मूल रूप से, ये वस्तुएं बच्चे की आंत को अवरुद्ध कर सकती हैं और स्वास्थ्य संबंधी चिंताएं पैदा कर सकती हैं। बच्चे अक्सर अपने मुंह में मिट्टी डाल लेते हैं। आजकल मिट्टी कीटनाशकों और विभिन्न रसायनों से भरी हुई होती है । मिट्टी में मौजूद प्लास्टिक के अवशेष बड़े स्वास्थ्य जोखिम पैदा कर सकते हैं जैसे कि चोकिंग और हार्मोनल असंतुलन पैदा करना। इसके अलावा कुछ और सावास्थ्य समस्याएं भी हैं जो मिट्टी खाने से हो सकती हैं जैसे:

    पेट में दर्द
    कब्ज
    भूख में कमी
    उल्टी
    फूड प्वॉइज़निंग
    सीसा विषाक्तता
    दस्त
    विभिन्न प्रकार के संक्रमण
    बच्चे की मिट्टी खाने की लत कैसे छुड़ाएं
    कुछ आसान टिप्स पर अमल कर के आप अपने बच्चे की मिट्टी खाने की लत को छुड़ा सकते हैं।
    अपने घर की अच्छी तरह साफ सफाई करें ताकि किसी भी तरह की मिट्टी या धूल हट जाए।
    अगर आपके पास पालतू जानवर हैं तो अपने बगीचे को जानवरों के मल से साफ रखें।
    गमले में लगे पौधों को अपने बच्चे की पहुँच से दूर रखें।
    अपने बगीचे के बाहर बाड़ लगाएं और जब बच्चा बगीचे में खेल रहा हो तो उस पर नजर रखें।
    अपने बच्चे को मिट्टी में खेलने के बाद स्वच्छता और हाथ धोने के महत्व के बारे में शिक्षित करें।
    मिट्टी खाना अक्सर बच्चों में पोषक तत्वों की कमी के कारण हो सकता है। कुछ डॉक्टरों का मानना है कि मिट्टी खाने वाले बच्चे कैल्शियम की कमी का संकेत दे सकते हैं। अपने बच्चे के बाल रोग विशेषज्ञ से जाँच करवाएं, और यदि आवश्यक हो तो आप अपने बच्चे को पूरक आहार देना शुरू कर सकते हैं।
    कभी-कभी पेट के कीड़े भी बच्चों को मिट्टी खाने के लिए प्रेरित कर सकते हैं, हालांकि इसका कारण पूरी तरह से समझा नहीं जा सका है। आप फिर से अपने बच्चे के डॉक्टर से बात कर सकते हैं और अपने बच्चे को पेट के कीड़ों को दूर करने की दवा का एक कोर्स दे सकते हैं।
    अपने बच्चे से बात करें और मिट्टी खाना बंद करने की आवश्यकता पर लगातार जोर दें। जब वे आपकी बात सुनें तो आप उन्हें खिलौनों या उनकी पसंद की किसी चीज़ से पुरस्कृत कर सकते हैं।
    सुनिश्चित करें कि जब भी आपका बच्चा मिट्टी या कीचड़ में हो तो सतर्क रहें। अगर आपके बच्चे ने मिट्टी खा ली है और वह बीमार महसूस कर रहा है तो तुरंत डॉक्टर से संपर्क करें। यदि इस सारे एहतियात के बाद भी बच्चे में सुधार नहीं आता तो उसे पाइका है या नहीं ये जानने के लिए डॉक्टर से परामर्श लें।अगर बच्चे को पाइका है तो निम्नलिखित तरीकों से उसे ठीक किया जा सकता है।
    पोषण पर ध्यान: ज्यादातर मामलों में, आहार में परिवर्तन के माध्यम से खनिज या पोषक तत्वों की कमी को दूर करने से बच्चे में पाइका की समस्या का समाधान हो सकता है।
    मनोवैज्ञानिक से परामर्श: मनोचिकित्सा की सिफारिश उन व्यक्तियों के लिए की जा सकती है जिनमें पाइका को भावनात्मक या मनोवैज्ञानिक गड़बड़ी के लिए जिम्मेदार माना जाता है।
    फार्मोकोलॉजिकल परामर्श : यदि पाइका को किसी बच्चे में बौद्धिक या विकासात्मक अक्षमता से जोड़ा जाता है, तो असामान्य खाने के पैटर्न को कम करने के लिए दवाएं निर्धारित की जा सकती हैं।
    व्यवहार संबंधी हस्तक्षेप: यदि पाइका को व्यवहार संबंधी मुद्दों से जुड़ा पाया जाता है, तो डॉक्टर मनोवैज्ञानिक से परामर्श की सिफारिश कर सकते हैं। हालाँकि, यह विकासात्मक रूप से विकलांग बच्चों के लिए अधिक उपयोगी माना जाता है।
    सेंसरी हस्तक्षेप: एक गैर-खाद्य पदार्थ को खाने की इच्छा के कारण की पहचान होने पर इसका विकल्प खोजने में मदद मिल सकती है, जो स्थिति का इलाज करने में मदद कर सकती है।

    Adderall is a medicine which is prescribed by a doctor for people having mental disorders and this medicine is known for the stimulation of the brain. The most common mental illness for which this medicine is prescribed or consumed is for the treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (adhd).

    ;

    There are various natural supplements and medications available which can help a person to reduce the severity of the symptoms of this ailment. These natural medicines are not useful in the treatment of adhd but they can also be used for the improvement of focus and helps in balancing the stimulation.

    Some of the natural supplements or medications that you can take in spite of adderall are listed below and these are all equally effective as adderall: ;

    Citicoline: this is a very identical substance to the natural precursor of phospholipid phosphatidylcholine. This substance is used for pharmaceutical purposes which is responsible for the proper functioning of the brain and it also has a healing effect on the brain if it has suffered any kind of damage or injury. ;

    In many countries or places, citicoline is transformed into the form of a medicine which has helped a lot of people to recover from various kinds and intensities of strokes. Phospholipids are very effective in enhancing the functionality of the brain.

    Citicoline is known to have so many positive effects on the brain of a person like it is very much helpful for a person who is suffering from nervous system and brain disorders like glaucoma and various types of dementia, which also includes the reduction of various symptoms of adhd. In some countries this substance is sold as a prescribed medicine whereas in other countries it is sold in the form of a supplement. This substance is non toxic and is very well tolerated by the person's immune system and there are no side effects of this substance.

    Methionine: the brain chemicals present in the brain are made from various amino acids and methionine is an amino acid which is responsible for the building and synthesis of certain brain chemicals. This substance has an active form which is known as s-adenosyl-l-methionine or same and this active form of methionine is consumed as a supplement by people who have medical issues like adhd and have symptoms of depression.

    A patient who is having the problem of adhd, when he is administered with this supplement then there is seen a significant improvement in the symptoms which he has been experiencing. The patient consuming this medicine can experience various problems as side effects like manic episodes and anxiety issues only if the patient is suffering from bipolar disorder. The right dosage is not yet found which will then establish this active form of methionine as an alternative for adderall.

    Ginkgo biloba: the supplement has an herbal origin which is commonly used and prescribed for older people who have problems with their memory and flow of blood. This supplement improves the memory of a person, the flow of blood and improves the symptoms of adhd in children. The dosage of ginkgo biloba has to be rightly found before it can be used as an adderall treatment in case of adults and children.

    Pycnogenol: this substance has various properties and the antioxidant property of this substance is highly expressed which is very useful and helpful in the improvement of blood circulation and lowering down of the blood pressure. This supplement has also been effective in lowering the oxidative stress and inflammation in the body which ultimately leads to the lowering down of the symptoms of adhd. This supplement also plays an important role in the reduction of symptoms related to hyperactivity in case of children suffering from adhd. ;

    Pycnogenol is also known for the improvement in attention, concentration and the coordination between the hand and the eye.

    Gaba (gamma aminobutyric acid): gamma aminobutyric acid or gaba is known for its calming effect on the nervous system because it is a natural brain chemical. It has properties which are responsible for the lowering of the levels of hyperactivity and excitability and it is also very effective and helpful in easing stress and anxiety. These symptoms are reduced significantly which are present both in adults and children who are suffering from the problem of adhd and other mental ailments.

    Vitamin b6 and magnesium: a brain chemical called serotonin is formed with the help of vitamin b6. Mood and feeling of calmness is regulated, maintained and improved by this nerve chemical and when this nerve chemical works along with a mineral named magnesium helps in the maintenance of brain chemical balance. Because of the intake of this nerve chemical, vitamin b6 with magnesium helps in the reduction of the symptoms of adhd and helps them to improve their mental focus, hyperactivity and aggressiveness. They have a very limited effect on controlling the symptoms of adhd and it is found that the symptoms become severe or return back after some time, when you have stopped taking the supplement.

    Mineral supplements: there is a shortage of mineral nutrients in children who are suffering from the problem of adhd but in normal condition the required amount of minerals is fulfilled by the intake of a proper and balanced diet. A child can suffer from malnutrition and mineral deficiency if the child is a picky eater and has some medical ailments which affects the body functioning to properly absorb the nutrients which may result in the child getting the right and adequate amount of nutrients.

    Some supplements are found to be very helpful in the reduction of the symptoms of adhd in some children and this is possible because some of the brain chemicals or neurotransmitters are formed with the help of certain minerals. These supplements are listed below: ;

    Zinc

    Magnesium

    Iron

    Conclusion:

    Adderall is used for the treatment of certain mental disorders and finding an alternative of such medicine should have zero side effects and should be equally effective to the original medicine.

    ;

    Before you start the intake of any of the above mentioned supplements you should be aware of the positive and negative of it and you should discuss it with your health provider as well.

    एड्डेराल क्या है
    एड्डेराल एटेंशन डेफिसिट हायपर एक्टिविटी डिसआर्डर (एडीएचडी) के इलाज के लिए दी जाने वाली एक प्रभावी दवा है। हालांकि, हाल के वर्षों में, इसका दुरुपयोग छात्रों द्वारा किया जाने लगा है। यह लोगों को लंबे समय तक सतर्क और प्रेरित रखने के इस्तेमाल होने वाली दवा बन गयी है जिससे छात्र लंबे समय तक जागते रहने के लिए इसका दुरुपयोग कर रहे हैं।

    एड्डेराल एटेंशन डेफिसिट हायपर एक्टिविटी डिसआर्डर (एडीएचडी) के लक्षणों को कम करने में बहुत प्रभावी हो सकते हैं, लेकिन केवल तभी जब कोई चिकित्सक उन्हें निर्धारित करे। बिना चिकित्सक के परामर्श के इन दवाओं का सेहत पर बहुत बुरा असर होता है। एड्डेराल में एम्फ़ैटेमिन होता है, जिसे लत लग सकती है। उत्तेजक पदार्थों का लंबे समय तक उपयोग तंत्रिका तंत्र को भी नुकसान पहुंचा सकता है।

    एड्डेराल कैसे काम करता है
    एड्डेराल एक केंद्रीय तंत्रिका तंत्र (सेंट्रल नर्वस सिस्टम ) का उत्तेजक है जो मस्तिष्क में कई न्यूरोट्रांसमीटर की असामान्य रूप से डेंसिटी बढ़ा देता है। इन न्यूरोट्रांसमीटर में डोपामाइन, एपिनेफ्रीन, सेरोटोनिन और नॉरपेनेफ्रिन शामिल हैं। इस बढ़ी हुई न्यूरोट्रांसमिटर डेंसिटी की वजह से सतर्कता, ऊर्जा और प्रेरणा बढ़ सकती है।

    दुर्भाग्य से, यही सारी भावनाएं लत को भी जन्म देती हैं। इसके अतिरिक्त, एड्डेराल के लंबे समय तक उपयोग से सहनशीलता में वृद्धि हो सकती है। फिर, व्यक्ति को उसी प्रभाव का अनुभव करने के लिए अधिक दवा का उपयोग करने की आवश्यकता होती है। इससे लत और डोज दोनों ही बढ़ने लगती है। एड्डेराल का अत्यधिक उपयोग केंद्रीय तंत्रिका तंत्र के लिए हानिकारक हो सकता है और हानि और स्थायी क्षति का कारण बन सकती है। इसलिए कुछ लोगों के लिए एड्डेराल का विकल्प ढूंढना जरुरी हो जाता है। एड्डेराल के बेहतर प्राकृतिक विकल्पों के बारे में हम लेख में विस्तार से चर्चा करेंगे।

    कैफीन
    बेहतर फोकस के लिए कैफीन, कॉफी, चाय या पूरक उत्पादों के रूप में इस्तेमाल किय जा सकता है। यह प्रभावी रूप से फोकस और एकाग्रता में सुधार कर सकता है, जिससे यह एक एड्डेराल का प्रभावी विकल्प बन जाता है। हालांकि कैफीन सुरक्षित और आसानी से उपलब्ध है, बहुत अधिक कैफीन का सेवन करने से घबराहट, बेचैनी, सिरदर्द और अनिद्रा हो सकती है।

    मैग्नीशियम
    मैग्नीशियम का प्रयोग मन को शांत करने के लिए किया जा सकता है। मैग्नीशियम की खुराक तनाव को कम करने के साथ-साथ एक प्राकृतिक चिंता निवारक का काम करती है। इसके साथ ही यह एडीएचडी वाले व्यक्तियों को शांत करने में मदद कर सकती है। ये बात और है कि मैग्नीशियम के आम दुष्प्रभावों में पेट खराब, मतली, उल्टी और दस्त शामिल हैं। उच्च खुराक पर, मैग्नीशियम अनियमित दिल की धड़कन या निम्न रक्तचाप का कारण बन सकता है।

    जिंकगो बिलोबा
    इसका प्रयोगी स्मृति प्रतिधारण और सीखने के लिए किया जाता है। इतना ही नहीं जिन्कगो बिलोबा ने बच्चों में एडीएचडी के लक्षणों को कम करने के लिए एक प्राकृतिक उपचार के रूप में अच्छी भूमिका निभाई है। ध्यान अवधि में सुधार करके, जिन्कगो अध्ययन के लिए Adderall का एक प्राकृतिक विकल्प हो सकता है। हालांकि आम तौर पर सुरक्षित, जिन्कगो अन्य दवाओं के साथ परस्पर रिएक्शन कर सकता है और उच्च खुराक पर रक्तस्राव, पेट की समस्याओं, सिरदर्द या दिल की धड़कन का कारण बन सकता है।.

    एल-टायरोसिन
    मूड को स्थिर करने के लिए एल-टायरोसिन का प्रयोग आम है। तनावपूर्ण स्थितियों मे यह डोपामाइन की तरह ही प्रभाव दिखाकर मूड और अवसादग्रस्तता के लक्षणों को स्थिर करने में सक्षम है। हालांकि टाइरोसिन की उच्च खुराक से मतली, सिरदर्द, थकान, नाराज़गी और जोड़ों में दर्द हो सकता है।

    जिनसेंग
    आवेग नियंत्रण के लिए जिनसेंग एडीएचडी वाले व्यक्तियों में अच्छा परिणाम दिखा रहा है। जिनसेंग असावधानी में सुधार करता है और एडीएचडी वाले बच्चों में आवेग और अति सक्रियता को कम करता है। हालांकि एक संभावित प्रभावी ओटीसी एडरल विकल्प, जिनसेंग अन्य दवाओं के रिएक्शन कर घबराहट, अनिद्रा, उल्टी और रक्तचाप में परिवर्तन का कारण बन सकता है।

    अल्फा जीपीसी
    सबसे अच्छे एड्डेराल विकल्पों में से एक एल्फा जीपीसी है। अल्फा जीपीसी उपलब्ध एसिटाइलकोलाइन के स्तर को बढ़ाकर मस्तिष्क पर कार्य करता है। यह न्यूरोट्रांसमिटर ध्यान और सीखने के लिए आवश्यक है। अल्फा जीपीसी को फोकस और एकाग्रता में सुधार के लिए एक सुरक्षित और प्रभावी एडरल विकल्प के रूप में इस्तेमाल किया जा सकता है।

    बकोपा मोननेरि
    बकोपा मोननेरि पारंपरिक रूप से एक औषधीय जड़ी बूटी के रूप में इस्तेमाल किया जाता है और इसे एड्डेराल के लिए एक अच्छा प्राकृतिक विकल्प के रूप पाया गया है। बकोपा शरीर में सेरोटोनिन और डोपामाइन के साथ अच्छी तरह से रिएक्ट करता है। यह सक्रियता ऊर्जा के स्तर में सुधार करने में मदद करती है। बकोपा न्यूरॉन संचार को बढ़ाकर काम करता है। इस कारण से, बकोपा की खुराक मेमोरी बढ़ाने और फीलिंग्स के एहसास को बढ़ा सकती है। यह मूड को नियंत्रित कर सकता है।

    हूपरज़िन ए
    हूपरज़िन ए एक हर्बल सप्लीमेंट है जिसका उपयोग चीन में दवा में बच्चों और वयस्कों दोनों में काॉग्निटिव वर्क में सुधार के लिए किया जाता है। अल्फा जीपीसी के साथ उपयोग किए जाने पर संज्ञानात्मक कार्य को बढ़ावा देने के लिए और भी अधिक प्रभावी होता है।

    रोडियोला रसिया
    एड्डेराल विक्लप के तौर पर रोडियोला रसिया का उपयोग उत्तरी केरोलिना और आर्कटिक क्षेत्रों में किया जाता है। यह एक जड़ी-बूटी है, जिसमें एड्डराल की तुलना में उत्तेजक गुण होते हैं। सौभाग्य से, इस जड़ी बूटी में एम्फ़ैटेमिन-आधारित एडीएचडी दवाओं के दुष्प्रभाव नहीं होते हैं। रोडियोला रसिया और मेमोरी और साइको हेल्थ के लिए अच्छा माना जाता है। यह जड़ी बूटी सेरोटोनिन और डोपामाइन के नियमन में सहायता करती है। ऊर्जा के स्तर में वृद्धि, मानसिक प्रसंस्करण और संज्ञानात्मक कार्य भी इसके कथित स्वास्थ्य लाभों में से हैं।
