Hearing Assessment Treatment offers a comprehensive solution to the treatment of all the problems related to hearing loss. Hearing Assessment Treatment includes various stages of tests and the test is performed across all the ages. Otoscopy is the primitive test where the ENT/Audiologist will inspect the ear canal with a magnifying tool and this helps in ruling out physical abnormalities or accumulation of wax in the ear canal which may cause hearing deficiency. The second test is the immitance audiometry in which a small plug like is placed in the ear which is made to emit sounds in lower frequencies. This test will help in ruling out middle ear infections which is causing hearing loss. If that is the case pills are given to remove the infection and in worst case surgery is done. The third type of testing involves Air conditioning testing which involves placing of ear phones over the ears and patient is supposed to press a button when he hears a sound that helps the ENT's to determine how intense is the hearing problem.
Hearing Assessment treatment involves the fourth method of testing which is Bone conduction testing which tests if there are any deformities in the formation of ear bones and muscles, if that is found surgery is done to correct the same but it is not a permanent solution for the hearing loss. Speech Audiometry is another tests which is normally conducted for infants and babies to find it is really a ENT disorder or not. Based on the assessment results, the Ent and audiologists decide with the course of Hearing Assessment treatment.
