Hi lybrate-user You a cavity in your tooth, and you should meet a dentist and show him to assess the same as only he can find out the extent of the cavity and suggest a treatment while you are pregnant.

My mother got calcaneal spur (severe pain at the heel) what are the reasons behind this.
Hi lybrate-user One of the causes of the calcaneal spur can be lack of vit D (due to menopausal age) and over pressure of heels (standing while cooking). So get he Vit D checked and in the mean time get some silicon base heel cushions available in market (vissco, tynor, flamingo are the company names). At home contrast bath ie, hot and cold water deeping (1 min of hot followed by 20 secs of cold for 5-6 times) will give pain relief, but for permanent cure Do physiotherapy with some elctrotherapy and exercises along with Vit D supplementation, that will definately help.

My wife is 64 yrs old & having knee pain & pain in heels. Wt 60 kg.Please Advice.

Assessment to be done by a physiotherapist, also the weight could be the cause here so activities to reduce weight. Since both knee and heel is paining, water exercises/ swimming will be the best. Heel cushion available in pharmacies will help with heel pain, could be calcaneal spur if the pain is maximum after getting up from bed early in morning and gradually reduces after walking for a few steps. Age factor suggests towards osteoarthritis of knee but x ray should be done for confirming. Continue exercises taught in physiotherapy sessions.

What can be the possible reasons for tail/hip bone area. What is the suggested treatment ?

MPT - Orthopedic Physiotherapy
Physiotherapist, Vasco
It is mostly attributed to wrong sitting posture and body weight, though even a thin person can get it too. Suggested treatment includes change of sitting posture after postural assessment, many times doughnut shaped pillow or tyre tube is helpful in sitting, Icing the area frequently and Physiotherapy is required. Post the sessions the strengthening exercises should be continued so that it does not reoccur.
