Hello weight gain if not achieved despite of consuming high energy rich n healthy food then your friend might need a clinical as well as a biological assessment to know the root cause. Pls mention his current weight, height n previous year too. N also any kind of weight loss recently observed.. If all reports r fine n no medical condition is diagnosed. Hello firstly do the following blood reports to know your profile more clearly. Lipid profile. Cbc esr blood sugar tests. Sgot /sgpt.. Thyroid test vitamin b12 n vitamin d n calcium levels. Revert back after your done with d results. Sumtimes eczema may be due to high sugar in d body if nt may b due to kind of food allergies or due to improper hygiene. Overweight may be coz of hypothyroidism or consuming hide calories in your diet n wrong meal timings n lack of knowledge about food consumption n sedentary lifestyle.. Hello daily intake of cashew nuts daily can be allowed to 3 to 4 pieces.. suggested is to try a variety of nuts in ur days diet to get different amino acids in ur body n not stick to one n also cashews tend to gain weight..

Tips to stay healthy forever.

1. Eat local fruits. Like banana, grapes, chikoo, mangoes. All fruits have fructose so it doesn't matter that your eating a mango over an apple. A mango comes from Konkan and an apple from Kashmir. So mango is more local to u.

Eat all d abv fruits even if you have diabetes as d fructose will eventually manage your sugar

2. Choose seed oils than veggie oils. Like, choose groundnut, mustard, coconut. Don't choose chakachak packing oils, like olive, rice bran etc
Go for kachchi ghani oils than refined oils

3. Ghee n it's benefits.
Eat ghee daily. How much ghee we shud eat depends on food. Few foods need more ghee then eat more n vice versa. Eat ample ghee. It reduces cholesterol.

3. Include coconut. Either scraped coconut over food like poha, khandvi or chutney with idli n dosa
Coconut has zero cholesterol and it makes your waist slim

3. Don't eat oats, cereals for breakfast. They r packaged food n we don't need them. Also, they r tasteless n boring n our day shouldn't start with boring stuff.
Breakfast should be poha, upma, idli, dosa, paratha

4. Farhaan akhtars new ad of biscuits - fibre in every bite. Even ghar ka kachara has fiber, likewise, oats have fiber. Don't chose them for fiber. Instead of oats, eat poha, upma, idli, dosa

5. No juices till you hv teeth in your mouth to chew veggies n fruits

6. Sugarcane is d real detox. Drink d juice fresh or eat d sugarcane

7. For PCOS, thyroid - do strength training and weight training and avoid all packaged food

8. Rice - eat regular white rice. No need for brown rice. Brown rice needs 5-6 whistles to cook n when it tires your pressure cooker, then why do you want to tire your tummy.
A white rice is hand pounded simple rice

Rice is not high is gi index. Rice has mediun gi index n by eating it with daal / dahi / kadhi we bring its gi index further down
If we take ghee over this daal chawal then d gi index is brought further down
Rice has some rich minerals n you can eat it even three times a day

9. How much should we eat - eat more if your more hungry, let your stomach be your guide n vice versa

10. We can eat rice n chapati together or only rice if you wish. It depends on your hunger. Eat rice in all three meals without any fear.

11. Food shouldnt make you scared like eating rice n ghee. Food should make you feel good

12. Never look at calories. Look at nutrients

13. No bread, biscuits, cakes, pizza, pasta

14. Ask urself is this the food my nani n dadi ate? if yes then eat without fear.

15. Eat as per your season. Eat pakoda, fafda, jalebi in monsoon. Your hunger is as per season. Few seasons we need to be fried food so eat them.

16. When not to have chai - tea - don't drink tea as the first thing in the morning or when you're hungry. Rest you can have it 2-3 times a day n with sugar

17. No green tea please no green, yellow, purple, blue tea.

18. Eat all of your traditional foods

19. Strictly no to packaged foods/drinks.

20. Exercise/walk more to digest and stay healthy.

You can overcome your diabetes by gaining some knowledge about what to eat and what not.

1)Completely stop consumption of sugary foods, artificial sweetness, canned juices and any other sweet preparation.

2)Start substituting your wheat flour with bajra/jowar flour/whole wheat flour to reduce your glucose intake.

3)Include a plate raw veggies before your meal to increase your fibre content as it helps to lower down your sugar levels.

4)Substitute your meals with red or brown rice instead of white rice to increase fiber.

5)Flaxseeds (not to roast) are an excellent source of fibre n omega 3 fatty acids n are known to reduce your glucose levels naturally.

6)Cinnamon tea is one of best remedies to reduce your insulin dosage as it contains chromium pincolate which diverts the glucose from the food we get to the muscle cells n must be taken after dinner.

7)Drinking of kokam water before meals (soaked in water for two hours)
Helps to bring down your sugar levels and is a natural cure for diabetes.

8)Fruits that have high glycemic index are not recommended like mango, chikkoo, custard apple etc

9)Lastly exercise for at least 50mins a day is a key to achieve good health.

Reducing weight requires firm determination dat you have to do it anyhow. Follow this to reach your target of 12kgs in two months: ■start your day with fresh fruits. ■ eat your breakfast like your meals. Must be very filling. ■lunch also you can eat 1roti/1bowl rice with the veg of your choice n salads. ■ replace your dinner with only home cooked soups (not ready made soups) or salads n nothing more than that. Some tips>> ● avoid fried foods, sweets, outside food, n carbonated beverages n processed food items. ●cook your meals in just four tbsp of oil. ● drink water before you eat something ●avoid nibbling between meals. ● green tea or any herbal tea to burn your calories must be consumed twice a day. ●Take lemon shots twice a day to suppress hunger. ● switch to healthy foods while choosing your days menu. N lastly follow this seriously for two months. Revert for more detailed menu plan n variations you can use in your cooking.

Diabetes can be healed with proper diet n if one follows it seriously can even low the disease amount of your tablet. Having sweets is not at all good for your health. Sugars are already naturally present in d carbs you consume. Hence to get rid of your habit of consuming sweets, initially limit your quantities n slowly stop at all. Artificial sugars to be avoided completely. Include lot of fibre before every meal to keep your sugar levels in balance. Flaxseeds, cinnamon tea etc r known to cure diabetes. For a detailed menu plan for diabetes, revert back.

Consumption of too much milk n it's products may lead to deposition of calcium in your arteries. Limit your consumption to one serving a day. N do not overdo with oats all the time as they tend to make you constipated. Try out different snack items which r more healthier than broken wheat n oats.

Hello Mr. lybrate-user Gaining 35kgs is a way too high in past 4 years.. Weight gain is mainly associated with wrong eating habits and a sedentary lifestyle if there are no clinical conditions.. Follow sum simple guidelines >> ■ drink 2 glasses lukewarm water with lemon on an empty stomach. ■have good quality healthy breakfast.. ■ mid morning snack can be any single fruit. ■ again for the lunch you can much on raw salads n vegetable sabzi of your choice (cooked in less oil) with roti. ■ evening snack can be your herbal tea with roasted chana. ■ dinner should be as light as possible (means low calorie) so you can have soups or some kind of chaana chaat or so. See to it that you always have home cooked meals. Limit the portion size of your meals. Avoid fried, junk, sweets. Exercise at least 50mins a day (as per your age a brisk walk is recommended) Also get your TSH levels checked.

Hello lybrate-user.. U seem to be involved in a heavy workout regime despite of which you haven't lost your weight. Also a very professional approach is required to weight loss. Very strict plans doesn't work sumtime. Before getting started with d weightloss plan with you pls do the following tests n report me d same. ■ lipid profile. ■ thyroid hormone test. After d reports only I can confirm the reason for having no weight loss at all. If d reports r normal then the diet may be faulty somewhere.
