With more than a 1000 people losing their lives to heat stroke, our country try is sweating it out in this sweltering heat.
let's start by understanding heat stroke.

Our body normally produces heat in excess to which is required to maintain our body temperature.
This excess heat is lost via sweating and through our breath.
Whenever we are unable to loose this heat fast enough our body becomes heated and we are at risk of heat stroke.
So how to avoid it?
Try staying indoors if possible.
Do not exercise or do heavy mechanical work in the sun.
Drink plenty of fluids, the right time to enjoy your juices and shakes and bantas.
However do avoid alcohol and hot drinks like coffee or tea.
Remember sweating is good ,if you are not sweating you are not cooling down.
Cover up yourself in light coloured and airy comfortable clothes.
As very rightly pointed out by a previous reviewer wear wide brimmed hats, do not keep anybody inside a car parked in the sun.
Keep safe with these simple tips and enjoy your summer holidays.
