Cancer is one of  those diseases which still remains incurable and every year many people die from it. When a person is affected with cancer, his/her metabolism slowly but completely dies and the lump of unwanted cells increases. These dangerous cells utilise the total food of the body making the person weak and may lead to death. Cancer even results in total failure of all the organs.

Let us have a look at the different types of cancers that humans can get affected with:

  1. Sarcoma: It occurs in the muscles, bones, cartilages, blood vessels.

  2. Carcinoma: It occurs from the skin or cells which line the internal organs of the body.

  3.  Lymphoma: It is a cancer of lymph glands and lymph nodes.

  4.  Leukemia: It occurs in the blood forming organs of the body, particularly in the bone marrow.

It has been seen that every part of the human body is vulnerable to cancer and can get affected vigorously by these cells. The most common types of cancers are:

  • Lung cancer: It is the most common cancer that affects thousands of people every year and the number is still rising. It affects the lungs directly eventually causing them to die out.

  • Breast cancer: It is more common among women and can be cured if detected in the early stages itself.

  • Liver Cancer: It is common among both men and women and occurs when liver cells develop changes (mutations) in their DNA — the material that provides instructions for every chemical process in the body.

  • Prostate cancer: In this form, the cancer cells develop in the tissues inside the prostate gland.

  • Non-melanoma skin cancer: It occurs due to direct exposure to the sun's UV rays.

  • Bladder cancer: As mentioned above every part of the human body is vulnerable to be attacked by cancer cells. Similarly, our bladders also get affected by it.

  • Non-Hodgkin lymphoma: This is a rare form of cancer but still affects thousands. It results in swollen lymph nodes, high fevers, and weight loss.
