What's The Difference Between Weight Loss & Fat Loss?

What's The Difference Between Weight Loss & Fat Loss?

There are a lot of people who think that weight loss and fat loss are the same thing and do have to carry any difference, but the reality is totally different. There is a whole lot of difference that lies between the two. When one starts to maintain a strict diet and begin exercising, he or she would not lose fat automatically. People by doing these things, sometimes go on to lose muscles, which is something anyone should always look to avoid.

Now let us take a look at the differences between the two one by one so that a proper understanding can be developed:

What Can Be Regarded As Weight Loss?

Before anyone becomes too happy about losing weight, they should know that the loss mainly consisted of three things:

1. Fat

2.Water

3.Muscle Mass

So in a way, little of everything had gone down to make the person slimmer. One can easily lose weight by not having food but unfortunately, that weight loss will be both muscles as well as fat. People think that reducing the intake of food and not doing exercises can help them get back in proper shape but in reality, this regime can only make a person really weak.

The level of fitness, as well as strength, suffer because one's muscles lost a portion of their mass. So, no one can expect their physical performance to improve. Moreover, people might feel tired and their immune system can become weaker, hence allowing them to catch a cold or even suffer from different kinds of health problems. Hence, it is important not to go for crash diets, which promise to make people become slim in no time. In reality, it would only cause damage to their health.

What Exactly Is Fat Loss?

Fat Loss is confined to the reduction of fat tissues that get stored. This can be achieved through the maintenance of a healthy diet along with proper exercising.

Some points related to fat loss:

-Fat loss does not take place overnight but it definitely helps people get into much better shape than what a strategy for weight loss does.

-People need to work out for losing their fat. This leads to a much more improved level of fitness, stamina, strength along with physical performance. It is just the opposite of weight loss.

-Moreover, eating the right kind of items and simultaneously indulge in doing exercises can provide strength to one’s immune system and keep people protected against illnesses.

So basically, if anyone aims to look great, they must lose fat and not weight. They can attain fat loss through proper training and through consuming a balanced diet devoid of any fat. This will allow the results to last longer and is a healthier option for one's body.

Why To Watch What You Eat?

Who in this world doesn’t want to look good and feel good?

Everyone wants to look their best and be healthy, no one likes to be sick and everyone loves to feel good and look beautiful and slim and trim.

The most important factor, which makes us look good and feel good, is food. We get energy from food, we look healthy when we eat good food, and we look good if we eat properly and proportionately.

Hence, food is the most important factor in our life and without it, we cannot survive. Diet is the most important part of our life; our diet is what we eat every day.

Let's discuss about the importance of proper diet and food and what to consume to stay fit and healthy.

  • Diet is very important if you want to reduce weight because weight loss is 80% diet and 20% sweat. Working out alone is not going to help you reduce your weight.
  • Also, let's not deny the fact that exercise helps to reduce weight, but diet plays a much more important role in weight loss.
  • If you want to be healthy then make sure that you eat a well-nourished and well-proportioned diet as too much of something is not good.
  • If you eat too much then you will become obese which will lead to all kinds of health problems like blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol, arthritis, backache, etc.
  • “Eat your food like your medicines or else you will eat your medicines like food”.
  • The above quote is indeed true and gives a very good message, so watch what you eat.
  • Avoid processed and canned food, because they are filled with sugar and salt, which act as preservatives and are very bad for health.
  • The fresh packaged fruit juices, which we drink contains high amounts of sugar and the frozen food and other ketchup’s and sauces, which we consume, are filled with fat, MSG, sugar and salt, which are quite dangerous to our health.
  • Make sure that you include lots of fruits and vegetables in your diet and avoid oil as much as possible.
  • Fruits and vegetables help to detoxify your system and oil are necessary for our body to function but too much of oil is very bad.
  • Make sure that you fast at least once a month to give rest to your digestive system.

Hence, these are some of the tips, which you ought to follow to eat your way to a healthy life.

If You Look Good, People Treat You Better!

If You Look Good, People Treat You Better!

Looks are very important as they cast the first impression of a person and of course, the first impression is the last impression.

When you meet someone, the person will first judge you by your looks. People will judge you by your character only after they come to know you.

Looks revel a lot about a person; you know what, sometimes some people’s character is radiated by their looks. Some people not only look innocent but they are also very innocent, the innocence radiates from their face.

While some people’s haughtiness can be detected by their looks.

People tend to judge others by looks and treat others accordingly. Hence, it is clear that you should make a fair attempt to look good as people judge you and treat you by looking at you.

To look good, you need to be healthy as looks and health go hand in hand. If you are healthy then you will automatically look good.

So in order to be healthy, you should have at least some control over your eating and you also should work out daily.

Health is related to food because we get energy from food but mind you, we get energy from ‘good food’ not form ‘junk food’.

Junk food cause health problems a lot of health problems, it makes you obese and looks fat.

Obesity is the major health problem as of today as obesity can cause aches and pains, diabetes, cholesterol, blood pressure and what not, plus it makes you look fat and ugly.

Hence, to look good and be healthy you have to avoid unhealthy food, eat properly, eat moderately, and eat more fruits and vegetables.

Most of the people tend to forget one thing that we “eat to live” and not “live to eat”, and if you grasp this concept then you will automatically look, good and be healthy.

To look slim and trim, people work out for hours in the gym but they forget that diet plays a much more important role than exercise.

I am not saying that you shouldn’t work out, I am saying that workout but along with that watch your diet too.

Hence, a good diet and exercise are two things, which make you healthy, and if you are healthy then you will look beautiful.

Weight Loss Important Tips!

Weight Loss Important Tips!

Losing weight as part of weight management is important because weighing too much is not good for your health. Being overweight increases your risk of health conditions such as heart problems, high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes and certain types of cancer. Being overweight can also increase your risk for os

Osteoarthritis (joint disease), sleep apnea (abnormal breathing at night) or other respiratory (breathing) problems. Being overweight may also cause a person to feel sad or be treated differently by others.
The best way to lose weight is to eat fewer calories (units of energy that your body gets from food) and get regular exercise. Eating more calories than you need will cause you to gain weight. Try to cut down your calories by 500 calories per day. For example, cut down on one soda (about 150 calories), a small bag of regular potato chips (about 150 calories) and one chocolate bar (about 250 calories). For most people, this change will result in a slow weight loss of about one pound a week. You can burn calories if you get regular exercise. Exercise (for example, walk, swim or bicycle) for at least 30 minutes on most days of the week. You will be more likely to keep weight off if you make lifelong lifestyle changes.

Aim for a slow, steady weight loss. Losing even a small amount of weight can lower your risk of health problems. Inchloss is totally different philosophy which aims or is designed for people aiming for just lean figure, but it does not gives you good lifestyle and does not reverse health conditions like diabetes, fatty liver, PCOS, PCOD, cholesterol, hypertension, arthritis, osteoporosis in fact people who follow the philosophy of inch loss somehow end up ignoring their health conditions, rightBMIi is very important for good health, if your BMI is high you are prone to disease heart problems, high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes and certain types of cancer. Being overweight can also increase your risk for osteoarthritis (joint disease), sleep apnea (abnormal breathing at night) or other respiratory (breathing)
So in nutshell, it's more important to be healthy and slim, rather than looking slim by losing on inches by gaining muscles.
It's important to follow a dietitan who aims for weight loss rather than inch loss as weight loss cures half of your diseases.

How to Lose Stomach Fat without Exercise or Dieting?

How to Lose Stomach Fat without Exercise or Dieting?

Try tummy-control garments. There have never been more options in the undergarment industry for clothing that tighten, firm, and shape the midsection. Made mainstream by Spanx, tummy-control garments are available in many types for people of most sizes.

• Women's undergarments include tummy-control pantyhose, panties, high-waisted shorts, body suits, camisoles, and tank tops made of Lycra, elastic, or some combination. Most mainstream undergarment brands for women carry control top styles, but the most popular include Spanx, Soma, and TC Shaping. Buy your normal size and expect it to run small.

Take advantage of current trends in corseting and waist training. This method involves wearing a binding garment across the abdomen. If done in moderation, corseting can create a thinner silhouette without any other lifestyle changes.

• Some celebrities swear by corseting as a weight loss mechanism, and although doctors say it won't actually help you lose fat cells, it can help you lose weight by cinching in your stomach as you eat so that you don't have as much room to overeat. In addition, the fat cell can expand or shrink, according to how much fat it is storing.

• Be careful about wearing these too tight or too frequently. Because they can reduce your stomach capacity, you might vomit after eating even a normal sized meal. They can also contribute to heartburn and compress your organs.

• Purchase your corset at a store with knowledgeable sales staff, who can help you fit it correctly and learn to lace it appropriately so that it is not too tight.

Consider a body wrap. Body wraps are spa treatments that claim to detoxify and slim the midsection. With training, these can also be done at home. While the process can vary, most involve several steps and the application of several types of body products.

• The aestheticism will start by massaging and applying a body scrub to your midsection, which will then be rinsed in a shower. The body scrub will contain a variety of herbs and minerals thought to cleanse the skin of impurities and reduce the appearance of fat or cellulite.

• The body will then be rubbed with a lotion or oil containing other emollients and properties.

• Next, the midsection will be securely wrapped in linen, plastic, or thermal sheets, and then an electric heated blanket will be used to warm the body for about 30 minutes, which will cause sweating. This step in particular is thought to remove impurities and reduce the appearance of fat.

• After removing the blanket and wraps, the midsection will be massaged again to increase blood flow.

• While this process is not supported for weight loss, many clients feel that it reduces the appearance of stomach fat and cellulite, especially with repeated treatments. Due to the sweating process (and loss of water weight), it is not uncommon for clients to experience a loss of a couple of inches, although this will be temporary.

Reduce your water weight. The body can retain water for various reasons, giving a bloated appearance particularly around the waist. Reducing water weight will temporarily slim the waistline.

• Hydrate. In many cases, water retention is the body's effort to prevent dehydration when you are not taking in enough water per day. This is especially true in hotter months. Be sure you are drinking at least eight 8-oz glasses of hydrating fluids a day (or 2 liters), which will help flush out your system and reduce bloating and puffiness.

Negative Thoughts About Your Body - How To Manage It?

Negative Thoughts About Your Body - How To Manage It?

Today, most people’s perception of a beautiful woman is a tall, slim, fair skinned woman. However, not everyone is built with such a physique but still have a beauty of their own. As they say, beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder and if you think you are beautiful then that confidence will indeed give you the grace and elegance to be noticed. Sadly, we tend to focus more on the social perception of beauty and tend to find faults with ourselves as we try to fit into that mould. These constant negative thoughts lead to the development of emotions that range from discontentment to depression and hence are extremely unhealthy. Here are a few tips to help break out of this negative cycle:

  1. Look Out For Thinking Errors- Most people with a negative self-image tend to think along a few common lines. Recognise these thinking errors and try avoiding them to build a more positive self-image. This includes thinking only in extremes, magnifying things, turning emotions into reasons etc. Realise that thinking negatively makes it more difficult for you to achieve your goals or what you want out of life. Recognising these patterns is the first step towards accepting yourself and building your self-confidence.

  2. Stop Making Comparisons- From early childhood, we begin comparing ourselves with others. As we get older, we compare our self-image with what we see on magazine covers and billboards. Even though we know they have been digitally enhanced, we still aspire to look like them. However, each person’s physique is different and it is not possible for everyone to look like a model.

  3. Recognise Your Strengths- You may have heavy hips but at the same time, you also may have beautiful eyes. Focus on the parts of your body that you love and each time you find yourself complaining about your self-image, remind yourself of these parts. Be grateful for what you have instead of sinking into a victim syndrome.

  4. Look Out For Triggers- Find out what triggers negative thoughts in you and stay away from them for a while. For some people, this may be in the form of magazines while for others it may be certain TV shows or even the company they keep. Surround yourself with positive imagery and positive people who will support you and uplift you instead of simply sympathising with you and letting you believe that you are a victim.

Running - 7 Things You Must Know Before You Go For It!

Running - 7 Things You Must Know Before You Go For It!

Running is proven to be one of the most efficient forms of exercise as it has a ton of benefits attached to it. For instance, running helps you in maintaining your body weight by cutting down that unwanted or extra body fat, and helps in keeping you slim and trim. It also aids in improving your metabolism. Regular exercising will keep you energised, and increase your stamina.

Before starting with this physical activity, there are certain things you should know about. These are:

  1. Be patient: Patience is key! Now, we all know that that nothing can change in a day. You won't notice any signs of improvement on the first day. So, the best thing to do is work out every single day with dedication, and you'll notice the results in a month or so.
  2. Be Comfortable: It is very necessary to feel comfortable before you start your exercise. If you are going to run with your high heels or slippers on, it's never going to work out. So, it is very important to dress in your most comfortable attire before you start running.
  3. Eat well: A healthy diet packed with all the essential nutrients is an absolute must if you plan to take up running as a regular exercise. Do not starve yourself at any cost or skip any meal. Running will take up a lot of your energy and a healthy diet is a must if you intend on being fit and strong.
  4. Drink lots of water: It is very essential to drink lots of water and keep yourself hydrated throughout the day. Pro tip: Gulp down some water after your run, as we tend to lose water and minerals from our body in the form of sweat.
  5. Run with music on: Recent studies have proven that running with music on is the better alternative. Music helps us focus more on our goal and also helps us stay calm.
  6. Consistency: You have to be consistent in your workout and only then will you be able to notice a significant change in your health. Running at least once a day is recommended. Some people tend to run twice a day too, but that depends from person to person. Do not burden yourself too much. Running is an exhausting exercise and you should not force your body too much.
  7. Calm your body and mind: Running or jogging in the morning can have a positive impact on you as it reduces stress and keeps you calm and sound throughout the day. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a Physiotherapist.
