Nephrotic Syndrome

I am Dr. Amit Agawal, a pediatric nephrologist. Bachon ki kidney disease ka me treatment deta hun. Aaj me apko btaunga nephrotic syndrome ke bare me. Isme bachon ke urine me bhuut sara protein ane lgta hai. Protein ki kami ho jati hai and swelling ho jati hai. Bache ka cholesterol bhi badh jata hai. Ye disease 2-12 saal ke bachon ko effect krti hai. Ye 1 time disease nhi hai. Ye disease baar baar aati hai. Steroid iska treatment hai. Hume iske lia dusri medicines ka use krna chaiye. Parent ko hum sikhate hai ki urine me protein ko kaise measure kia jaye. Ye islia important hai taki swelling hone se pehle hum ise pick kr len. Isme kam se kam 50 bache relapse krte hain.

Bachon me steroid ke side-effects aane shurur ho jate hain. Hum parent ko regular eye check up ke lia bolte hain. Quki cataract and glucoma bhut common hai in bachon me. Isme blood pressure bhi badh jata hai. Agar bache ko normal life spend krne me problem aa rhi hai to hume or tests ki jrurat hoti hai. Hum swelling ko medicines se temporary kam krne ki koshish krte hain. Isme steroid ka response most important hai. Agar steroid ka response aa rha hai to kidney khrab nhi hogi. Dusri chiz hum dekhte hain ki bache ko steroid ke side-effects na aye. Aise bacho ko oral polio, varicella vaccine nhi dena chaiye. Vo medicine rukne ke bhi 6 weeks tak hume wait krna chaiye.

Agar kbhi bache ko koi or problem hota hai like chickenpox to hume doctor se jrur milna chaiye. Kisi bhi disease ko steroid se lightly nhi lena chaiye. Ahar koi side-effects hain to it means hum kuch galat kar rhen hain. Dusri important chiz patient ka contribution hai. Side-effects permanent nhi hote hain. Isme 3 months me ek bar check-up krana hota hai. Bachon ka height and weight ka test kia jata hai. Baki is bimari se darne ki koi jrurat nhi hai. Is treatment ko thoroughly len and doctor se discuss kren. Agar koi complications hota hai to pediatric nephrologist se consult kren.
