Mental Disorder

My name is Dr. Ambrish Dharmadhikari. I am a psychiatrist I practice at Goregoan Mumbai.
Today I am going to talk about stigma about mental disorder. Mental health disorder is one of common disorder we find in our society. World Health Organization predicts that mental health disorder will be most common disorders to cause mobility by 2020. So still that mental health disorder being such a common phenomenon is full of stigma about people suffering from mental health disorder. We consider them as ‘paggle’ in Marathi Veda and label them provision are called as a schizophrenic depressed. These terms hurt them and let them not seek the treatment, these people are confined to their rooms at times they are chained. This inhuman treatment makes them less productive and would restrict to partake part in society. I think you and me share this collective responsibility to share this stigma and come out and talk about more and more mental health in mental health so today on this platform lybrate I would like to urge you to talk about mental health illness talk about anything you know anything you want, talk, help anyone if you know if anyone needs help bring to mental health profession they will help so lets take a place today that together we are going to help a person who is suffering from mental health to recover and come back to society and do his best for our society.
