Dear Rajiv,
It is in our culture, to keep the elderly persons at home and care for them till the end. This person needs nursing care also which your family members alone can not do. So, it is better to keep her at home and keep a part time or full time nursing assistant, hired from some voluntary agency. If your house is, not that convenient or if you have other commitments, you have to shift her to a nursing home after counselling all relevant relatives.
