A sports players should replace minimum 80% of sweat loss which is approx. 4 to 8 swallows of sports drink every changeover. Failure to do this might lead to cramping and stiffening of muscles. A person who is not into sports should drink at least 3 liters of water that is 10 glasses a day to avoid cramping and stiffness. About 75% of people suffer muscle spasm due to less intake of water.
